The physical distinction is important. Companies are only required to physically cater to the handicapped. Companies aren't required to have their advertising literature in braille. They aren't required to have a someone on premisis that does sign language, or have phone access for the deaf.
There has been mention of the case against Mac Donalds by the woman who was scalded by hot coffee and won a 7 million dollar lawsuit against them. Does anyone think MacDonalds thinks that was frivolous, or the lady or the judges, jury or lawyers. I believe everyone involved in that took it VERY seriously and everyone involved in this case does too.
Another bit to add to the Moonlight confusion is the name of a rendering package called 'Blue Moon Rendering Tools' which is a pixar-type rendering engine that was built by Larry Gritz.
When I worked in the chemical industry, we had to cut up the 12 pound ingots into little peices in the 'sodium room'. It was hard work and it was hair rasing when a drop of sweat fell on the ingot and sizzled. There is nothing quite like sodium dissolved in liquid ammonia....
I wish there were more specifics on the environmental aspects... Is there something particulartly toxic about cell phones or are they just part of the problem of electronic thingamajigs hitting the landfill?
so why not write a front end that generates files for rendering? Writing a front end for renderman would be pretty interesting and wouldn't take you 65 years.
Where can my wife take a memory card and have someone extract 36 of the pictures and print them out for 8 bucks in one hour? It's not going to happen soon.
