Haven't you been watching BSSM? Moon crashing into earth is caused by the forbidden love between Princess Serenity (Sailor Moon) and Prince Endymion (Tuxedo Mask).

Why PHBs Fear Linux

The authored only did one comparison between the MS and UNIX/Linux references. All the other times, he just gives Linux references, does that mean that MS is not even mentioned? If so, then how does that explain the prevalence of MS software. I think the article should balance how UNIX/Linux is described and how MS is described in all the cases to draw a clear conclusion that texts are influencing PHBs
There is one place where RFID will be infinitely useful, on remote controls. Have you searched for remote control all over the house and found it in the least expected place ( bathroom, kitchen, on top of the tv;-) ). Imagine if there was an RFID in every remote control and you can get software to tell you where it is. That would be a killer app!
>> So, you are advocating making screwing up on a computer lethal?.........
Puts a whole new light on this Blue Screen of Death business, doesn't it...

Basically, they block the actor's mouth or pan elsewhere when he's saying the prize amount, then they just replace it with whatever the prize amount of the wk it is.
This is true until you realize that they interview people different amount of time based purely on the judgment/ prejudice of the interviewer. If you notice, many locals get passed by with very few questions ( 5 min ). Sounds like you got the standard foreign national drill.
Also, the line, despite the many counters is always long. For some reason, they have it in for Chinese people. Until I learned the shortcuts, my interrogation ALWAYS involved 2 sets of the interviewer. Which they tell you that they are just training new people. In reality, they are using the second interview to see if you slipped up. There was one case where I was the FIRST to show up and the last to leave ( they questioned me for more than TWO HOURS - imagine that set of questions repeated 4x ). I got really annoyed and told them so and how I was going to miss my flight. At that point, they finally gave up and escorted me to the gate, bypassing the immigration area so I was able to get on that flight.
Don't even get me started on the time I got bomb searched. So, I generally avoid going when I can. When I do, I get the office to prepare a letter with company letterhead to expedite the process ( this guarantees a foreign national drill or less )
I think that you care more about your "relation" with your child than your child. Being a parent is not about being your child's friend ( I know this is against ALL of modern parenting ), it's about being a parent:SHOCK:
This does NOT mean that you cannot be your child's friend. However, compensating for not being able to have parents that bond with you does not mean that you bend over backwards to try with children. Some people are lucky and are compatible with their children, some are not.
The reason that your kid behaved that way because he's never felt that kind of threat before. If you started discipline early, you would require less and less overtime ( unless you are inconsistent ).
This will allow your child to have discipline that will allow him to learn things and be competitive in the future, also it will create less burden to the teachers. If all parents did this, school system would not be broken. The school system is not broken, the parenting system is broken.
Not to be paranoid or anything. But, now that they have the source, they can find the weakpoints that a virus can exploit and proceed to create them.
I mean it's handy to have the virus on hand in case US/ China ever get into a serious conflict and they wanted to cause some damage? Or maybe it could even be just one overzealous employee writing one to promote Chinese "self soverignty"...
So US might be the only gov to not have the source:(
How's a student to keep up with them? everyone will fail astronomy because they can't remember all 12 moons' names and the names of the 20+ around saturn.
I say that we launch a solar system cleanup mission and destroy those moons! There can be only ONE!!
Saying that product only have to be produced once is the equivalent of saying a product that will sell itself. They are both myths.
Virtually all IT products require continued engineering because they are put into a world where the requirements are constantly changing (just like everything else!) Products that are "produced once", console games fall into this category, they have limited shelf lives as the market saturates. So, unless you come out with the next GTA, you will find that GTA will be replaced by newer competing products.
So, like selling, which has to keep selling to the changing consumer taste, engineering needs to continue enhancing for the next set of requirements.
I see all those analogies of breaking into your house and walk around to what Lamo did, I think it's a bad analogy.
My home is not a trusted public institution / company to which many people trust their private info. Remember all those investigative reports into airport security? How reporters demonstrate how poor they are ? This is the proper analogy.
Only difference is that his "motivation" is less trusted (c'mon, people don't believe in altruism), and hence, feared. Whereas we know that reporters are doing it for the job and $$, tho I'm sure airport security never asked for this kind of investigation.

Most likely because the restaurant only have mustard, but no musterd:)
Sounds more like a plan to format my hard disk to me!

How about just call it:

Am I the only one that read the headline and thought (hoped) that it would be a printer that would print out a girlfriend for me?
Just hauling luggage at airports.
I somehow think that this is a vision of the future thought up by those guys in their spare time
Another reason:
Stopping bullets prevents people behind him from getting hurt. No point in not dodging a thrown gun that won't seriously hurt anyone

Ack! You just discovered the true purpose of the Matrix! You must be eliminated!

It took 2 tries for DivX to get it right, so I'm waiting for open source to pick up Ebooks and make it popular again. ;)
And those marriages lasted, on the average, longer than they do now
I'm just bothered that this guy's kitchen is larger than his living room...
I'm sorry Dave, but I've fallen and I can't get up!
I say that we bring this up at the capitol hill and correct this situation.
Or even further, maybe we should make it an Amendment to the constitution?
