    If I just had to have the apartment, this is exactly what I'd do. I'd also get a microwave leak detector so I could prove to visitors, or prospective buyers, should I ever want to sell, that it is safe. Open the window, show the outside levels, then show interior levels, everyone should be happy at that point.

    They are fans, I'm sure they don't have a lot of money to fight it. Perhaps they don't have a lot of time either, since they've been working on it for 8 years. Seems a bit excessive. Of course, they could still work on it, finish it, and distribute it secretly.

    There are a lot of cars that can't get past our overly zealous safety standards in the US. If there were, we could have inexpensive cars like the rest of the world.

    Very nice, but the AF will still not allow enlisted to pilot the drones. Must have at least a 4 year degree in something, even underwater basket weaving will do, and be commissioned in order to fly anything.

    Because the government is the government and a company is a company. The US government is required by the constitution to allow freedom of speech, a company is not. A company intends to turn a profit, and if what you say may harm that potential, they don't have to publish it.

    Google deletes MOST of the IP info after 9 months. The search providers don't need to keep data at all but, but for ads and user convenience, they do keep it.

    Problem is, the regular citizens are the ones who pay the price and get the raw end of the deal. Nothing good ever comes from it, at least not that I can think of. Consider our [non]relationship with Cuba. Has our embargo helped anyone? Has it hurt anyone? I'd say no to the first question, and yes to the second. I'm pretty sure the majority of citizens don't want this nonsense, but the corporations do.

    Yep, a friend of mine had snow blow into his exhaust pipe. It impacted and plugged it up so that his car wouldn't start.

    True, but if you're driving up to the intersection and you don't know what your signal is, you should exercise caution. Too many people just push on through not caring who has the right of way. What I see are people driving around who are selfish, arrogant, idiotic, and a bunch who simply don't know how to drive.

    I wonder what will happen when the scientists manage to clone a few of these, from the same DNA mind you, and they inbreed with themselves so to speak. Can't be a very viable life form, but I'm not a geneticist.

    I don't understand why getting less developed nations on computers and the internet is such a fantastic move. Perhaps those nations should finish their evolution, and work toward the tech honestly. Seriously, help them improve their agriculture, gradually move them toward industrialization, and eventually they'll join the ranks of fully developed countries.

    Unless the EULA says no. Then it'll be the same as running Mac OSX on whatever you want. I don't see a problem with running whatever OS I want on any piece of hardware I can get it to run on, but the companies, lawyers, judges, and fanboys disagree.
