The information transfer that occurs during a game can be viewed as a physical process. In the simplest case of a classical game between two players with two strategies each, both the players can use a bit (a '0' or a '1') to convey their choice of strategy. A popular example of such a game is the Prisoners' Dilemma, where each of the convicts can either confess or defect to having committed the crime. In the quantum version of the game, the bit is replaced by the qubit, which is a quantum superposition of two or more base states. In the case of a two-strategy game this can be physically implemented by the use of an entity like the electron which has a superposed spin state, with the base states being +1/2(plus half) and -1/2(minus half). Each of the spin states can be used to represent each of the two strategies available to the players. When a measurement is made on the electron, it collapses to one of the base states, thus conveying the strategy used by the player.
But the company called Íslensk Erfðargreining is still running as before - and nothing has changed with their contracts between them and their donators or the government.
I have no reason why we should distrust the new owners of the company any less then the previous ones.
Yes, this is causing a huge strain on news stories and an overall problem to humankind. Please let us find new planets so the stories about false positives can stop.
I think I can say with confidence that some places in America do not work at all. Gang areas where the police is even afraid to go, unemployment up to 20% in some states and as of now, no real health care for the poor.
You might call it a system that works, but I guess it depends on what you compare it to.
Just wandering, are there any other comparable situations where this is done, if I get busted 3 times for growing mariuana, do they cut off the electricity ? or water ?
The only thing I can think of is a driving licence, but in that case, lives can be in danger... so it's not really the same thing.
Well, thank you EU, good luck rest of world fighting this nonsense.

I think it's more the implementation.
Central planning is not always evil. I think it's fair that it's decided centrally what children learn in school, mostly at least.
Else what happens when you graduate to the next level if everybody has a different view on what to teach in school.
Standardized tests are also a good idea for comparison purposes.

One eye a year (sounds like a name for a james bond movie)
I guess electricity is always trying to escape :)
Electricity usage information wants to be free.
Mod parent up, this is exactly the case.

Can we all agree never to mention JarJar again.
"Get 50% fewer mouse clicks and 20% greater productivity using a 3Dconnexion navigation device."
Only 20% increased productivity ?
Why not say 50% or 100%...

Just because it's pseudoscientific doesn't mean it isn't scientific.
There isn't a day when I don't think the end of the world.
Obligatory:
Just google it on Bing

Is skullfucking a sexual orientation ?
Yes, take example of a company that sows clothes,
20 employees
3 who use a computer
Business is struggling
But OH NO of the 3 computers, 2 use Excel, but they only have a license for 1 Excel copy.
One uses Excel more then once per week.

Gather guns and head for the hills, the revolution is coming!
Start building small militia armies to prepare.
This is the only way to ensure peace.

I found this list on google, they source it from the WHO,
http://www.photius.com/rankings/healthranks.html
This puts France at the top, and USA just above Slovenia at no. 37 and below Costa Rica
Not sure about this list though, seems odd, but you can't argue with WHO, just whom..
I think the reasoning is that it benefits society as a whole.
Some people count on the internet at home to make a living - so you can buy water/electricity.
I don't think ACTA will trump European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedom.
Basic premise in the EU is Human Rights>Corporations which is not always the case but hopefully this time.

Some advertisers charge a fee for how often the ad is displayed...
So if you are paying 10 cents advertising McDonalds in Iceland, no luck for you as an advertiser.
