You can do multiple angles on the satellite images on google maps. It is not as intuitive as Bing, but you have to drag 'N" that surrounds the Pan tool to the different cardinal directions to get it to rotate. I will agree with you though that Bing's aerial images are better (at least in my experience).

Thats what I was thinking. It looks like they are trying to steal some of the PC crowd. People spend 1000-3000 bucks on a new computer pretty much to be able to play the newer games. Now you may say that a computer serves more purpose than just gaming( internet, email, word processors, etc). But the machines these people are replacing do those just fine. So they are spending that money for the ability to play newer games. In the past, consoles graphics have been sub par to PC's. When xbox came out, they made the gap a little closer, but still wasnt there (IMO). Now with these newer consoles, that gap is almost gone. So im assuming they think that people will fork over the higher prices. If the PS3 has some good exclusive launch titles (GTA, GT5 (better have car damage this time)) I think people will piss and moan about the price, but still pay it. Gamers piss and moan about everything, but they still deal with it.

We have a e-commerce site and got hit pretty bad from competition on click fraud. So we set up tracking on all paid advertising links. We also set it up so that if an IP came in on the same PPC ad more than 6 times in a week, they would get a landing page describing click fraud. We found that a lot of actual customers were tripping this. In the process of shopping around, they couldnt remember our URL or company name, but they could remember what they searched for to get to our site. They would click on that ad 10 times in some cases while doing comparisons to other sites. Its not click fraud, but its still pretty expensive to get that one customer.

I dont understand this argument. How would they have 'extra' phone calls? They are not going to get any phone calls from the original owner. If its a defect issue, they would get that phone call from the original owner anyway. If its a problem with the customer not understanding something about the product, they would get that phone call if the person would have bought the product new. Now I can see problems with non-console games that have product keys for activation, or registration. But im assuming BB isnt selling used PC games.

I would assume that they would market these as "multimedia" machines very heavily. So parents get the illusion that they would use these things for more than video games. Im sure the usual "family photos / pictures, mp3, HD " will be the words they use to justify the higher price.

I work for a smaller company that does online sales. As the business grows and more orders that come in during a day, bottlenecks start to show. We identified the bigger bottlenecks and instead of throwing people at them, we decided to automate with computers. I sat at the desk of each person and watched them work for an hour. As a programmer, you can easily see things that you can script, store, and transfer using computers. Even little things can make the world of difference when people do the same thing over and over.

Now this is with a small company that had almost no automation what so ever. Everything was done by hand, everything was printed, everything was passed around the office. You may have it different where bottlenecks dont show themselves so easily. My advice would be to sit at peoples desk and watch them work.

Now it is my fault for this, but im still SOL. I believe that you can actually just copy the valve file for each game (Its one file per game) and your set. Just download/install steam, and copy that file into its respective folder and your set to play. No downloading involved except for updates if needed.

I would think a review of a good gamer would be better. Good gamer meaning they are good with a variety of games(not just one type game that they are really good at). Focusing on winning from a good gamer will bring out any imbalances in the game. Yea, you cant expect them to do the tedious tasks in some games so you wont get a very fully detailed review.

I find that too many reviews just kind of gloss over the different things in the game to let you know what you can do. They never actually disects them and say "you can do X in the game, but it really doesnt do you any good to get you anywhere in the game".

That makes this board much more appealing to people in the MB/upgrading market. Buy this and buy the DDR and AGP video card relatively cheaply. In most cases, people already have these items in their current computer and they only need to upgrade the CPU and MB. Then later when DDR2, and PCIE hardware comes down in price, upgrading is an option without having to upgrade your MB (~150-200 bucks) to support your shiny new DDR2, and PCIE cards.

The Oki 4350n is networked and can be found for ~300.00. They say that lasers are cheaper in the long run. That is the problem with most consumers, they look at the bottom line when they are buying. Like you said, it takes them a huge amount of hassle to figure out that inks just plain suck.

Right now, color lasers are coming down in price for very good printers. They are trying to compete with color inkjets. Konica Minolta is coming out with a Magicolor 2400, replacing the 2300(which is very nice). Both of them are under 400.00.
