    When I purchased my last phone from Sprint a few months ago I was told that all of the phones that all of their phones were Micro USB and the other carriers were in the process of standardizing on Micro USB with the one notable standout being the iPhone.

    next year: the problem is you are using a 3G phone on a 4G network year after that: you're using a 4G phone on a 'still not really 4G but closer than we were before' network, you need to upgrade... and so on.

    I think they wanted their app to be rejected. Think about it, wouldn't most Android developers be more likely to have an Android device to run their app on than an iOS device? But if Apple bans their app they get some free publicity.

    No, 5 years experience for an entry level position (and pay) is so that the HR department can claim there are no suitable candidates an therefore can justify hiring the H1B worker they wanted to hire all along.

    Out of court settlements don't create precedent. I'm no lawyer, but I'm certain of that. It's the functional equivalent of giving the bully your lunch money instead of fighting with him.

    Giving your lunch money to a bully creates a precedent as he will go after you for lunch money again tomorrow. On the other hand bullies are easier to fight as they usually don't have lawyers.

    It was a reference to their advertising tagline "Fosters: Australian for beer". I've never had Fosters but my understanding is that the rest of the Australian brewing industry should be suing for decimation.
