It looks like on the twentieth of December, though we might not be on the same server, we'll be battling the force of our $enemy.
I look forward to it, ladies and gents!
It makes me wonder if they finally admitted this in timing with the whole Lockheed Martin story. My first initial thought was "Damn, that commando unit of cyberwarriors got Lockheed!"
Why would any company want to compete on the level that they did these past five years (excluding the Wii)?
Sony and Microsoft, pushing forward with their loss leaders.. only just now starting to etch out a good portion of the market that they're actually making money.
Of course, even after all this time, it still deserves to be said how amazingly the Wii massacred the other two. Though.. now that MS and Sony have a more.. non-hardcore offering, where will this lead them?
Only time will tell, and interesting it will be, either way!
It's weird in a sense that I could be called a 'pirate'..
If there's a game I want to play, I usually own it on one system or another. The majority being the Xbox, as it's far more difficult to play downloaded games on.
The thing is, though, is that I usually buy a game on the Xbox and then download it on the computer. So I've paid for their software, once. I see no reason to have to give them 120 dollars for the same thing over 60.
Maybe this means I'm pirate, maybe not?
I love the condescending attitude of some/.'ers involving social networks.
As a deployed military member, often my only stable way of contact with family and friends is over Facebook. In this, I see it as a valuable tool. It's more stable and far more easily accessible than grabbing a phone from 10,000 other people who all want to talk to their family.
But yeah, nothing of value was lost.:)
The U.S. needs to kill off the idiotic youth that will soon be our main work-force. Out of curiosity, I asked a 20 year old full time student who the former vice president of America was for the past 8 years was.. I get a "?????".
When asked which celebrity recently just passed away.. it was an immediate response full of confidence and knowing.
There ya go.
Indeed, as the current Chief of Staff is the first transport aircraft pilot, rather than the typical fighter/bomber man, put in charge.
I'm currently in the Air Force, and I can say it's definitely evolving and changing due to these conflicts. I see it on a day to day operational basis.
I am an avid gamer, and I have no problem with buying brand new games at full price, if I support the studio that produced the game.
I also support Bioware, they've made excellent games for a long while.. but this move is so off-putting. Even if there weren't enough time to get that DLC on the disc before they released it.. charging me $7 for the full product after I just got home from Wal-Mart at 12 a.m. on the game's release night is so off putting.
Sadly, I'm finding myself thinking "Do I really want to buy this game or should I just wait?". Before this news, it was a for sure "Yes." Now, I'm considering not getting it.
If you look at Oblivion, and all the mods it has accrued through the years.. it's simply amazing.
I've literally added hours upon hours to a game that already spans a very long time with its off the shelf content.
The Lost Spires is just an example of what you can get when you give your players the ability to create their own content.
And I absolutely shudder to understand why but this whole movie just made me think of the God forsaken movie about ol' Mark Twain and his beloved comet.

You can't track an IP address in Visual Basic with a CLI. Ha!

U.S. based media. They would eat that up.
If you're going to go through the efforts.. it's 'Mal'.
Not Mel. Otherwise, good job.

Steve!?
Can you make this a car analogy?
Never.
I hope that this will be a useful distribution and money-maker for Indie films.
Hopefully, it won't be stifled by the big studios.

Tisn't something I would care to carry around with me.

You're all a bunch of quacks.
Cynic.
Sir, that's offensive. I obviously wasn't shooting at the damn birds.
Microsoft praised on the altar of Slashdot!? Blasphemy!
