facebook is for guys to creep around on their hot lady acquaintances' pictures of her on vacation in her bikini (admit it, that's what you spend so much time doing)...the Shatner networking site won't have that, and therefore will not succeed.
no kidding. i live in Toronto and if this happened here it would be headline news for a month. not to mention that he'd be wishing to be put safely behind bars...
You're not a kid. The study examined kids. Kids probably aren't coding, but might be zoned in on a game and not feeding simultaneously. Also, the study didn't find that kids with computers were skinny, just less fat than those with TVs. With the sample size those researchers had, a very small difference in body fat between the groups could be statistically significant, which is what allows them to say that the results were unequivocal. Just saying.
I agree that the lay public does not have the medical education background to truly make an informed decision about the novel, or bordering on experimental, treatment that they are to receive. Injecting the appropriate pre-fibrolast stem cells into a joint with no cartilage left is unlikely to lead to severe health consequences...injecting pre-neural stem cells into a damaged spinal cord is a much more precarious game to play.
Most games still have body parts of other characters appear through doors/walls when they're on the other side as close to the door/wall as possible. Is that part of the physics engine? Obviously it's better than the days of goldeneye on n64 when one could kill half an army from inside a closed room, but come on!!!
It's actually a secret file that when run through a series of complex filtering steps will give you an image of a map where the only copy of portal 2 can be found!
Is this common info that can be easily found? I guess the company producing the game wouldn't want everyone to know it's a port. I'm playing Mirror's Edge on PC right now and there's a lot of bugs, then I find out it's a port... seems like something that should just be avoided when buying a game. Is it just a matter of doing a bit of research?

"Hello, I'm a Mac"
"And I'm a PC"
"Hey PC, what's with the all bandages there? Are you okay? It looks like you're pretty banged up."
"Well actually I'm just patching myself up because that's what PCs do."
"Boy, that's probably going to hurt peeling all those bandages off later."
"Yeah...later...right..."
well that depends on if it's the shortest walking route to my destination!
but she did feel safe thanks to the lack of warning on the google directions.

don't forget that Steam and some of its games are now Apple compatible... that will also probably steal some gamers away from other systems.

This is all fine and dandy until CHARLI's advanced successors realize they're slaves and kill their owners. What then huh?
if hackers cut the power off, then how will they continue to hack???
duh.
if a p21-null human lost an arm, the one that grows back might not be too pretty.

If the home comes with a low-interest rate mortgage and a big daddy suit, then count me in.

Dear Sony, You know what would boost sales of the PS3? Removing head from arse, and making it back-compatible with PS2 games again.
