    You still get the BSOD with that enabled. All that does is display the BSOD until the memdump is finished. If you use the small dump option, you probably don't even see the BSOD, it just seems to restart.

    IIRC, it's enabled in XP by default, and disabled in Win2k by default.

Rumor has it that in Spielberg's WotW, the Martians turn out to be absolutely terrified of walkie-talkies, and provide flying bicycles to humanity as a concession in the peace treaty after they find out that every cop, FBI/CIA/DHS/RIAA agent and soldier/sailor/airman on Earth is armed with one.

    XP Service Pack 2 may fix this for you. Opera, Firefox and IE 6 all bitched about shortcuts to folders on a DFS when saving prior to SP2.
