Anyone would think that the aparently shite ending of Halo (1 and 2) is a new thing. I've been playing and completing games from the C64 era, and you would be lucky if your game ended the credits.

Ohh I've killed the uber-badass guy, now what is my rewards. Ohh fancy credits and a nice jingle.

It's not new, and indeed still goes on. Half-life 1 and 2, sucked onto a flying train. Roll credits.

Quake 3 (not really a single player game). Kill final guy... very small animation, roll credits.

    I could go on.

At least with Halo you get a cliffhanger ending (the favourite of many a naff soap opera) and the idea that the halo universe is still going on.

Coming out of an ice age, our erratic orbit around the sun all contribute. What is hard to prove is that all this "Global Warming" is directly the fault of humans/human activity.

There is a whole lot of alledged evidence proving global warming exists. There is a greate deal of argument and uncertainty as to the rate of increase. And there has yet to be any convincing arguments as to the cause.

my spelling has less to do with my intelligence and more to do with how careful I am. Considering that my desk is a mess right now full of details design documentation, I'll let you work it out.

One paragraph should make one point. Now if I am of such a below average intelligence that I can make my points with such a clarity that requires only one sentence, then so be it.

The poster hit a "raw nerve" with his holier-than-thou attitude and aparent superiority complex. Now if someone wants to spend $1000 (or indeed 1000UKP) then they are welcome to do so. I was suggesting that the poster should get off his high horse and help the "averages" rather than insulting them

Also shite does not necessarily come from "american homies", it's worth considering other dialect that may pronounce it shite as appose to shit (see I can spell both).

"I smell shite" is a particularly Scottish phrase
Maybe you would like to consider the amazing fact that the internet is accessible throughout many varied and interesting parts of the planet, and is not as US centric as americans would like to believe.
