I can assure you that it will not change with this administration, or the next, or the next. FOLLOW THE MONEY. They filter MILLIONS to these politicians in order to pull the power to their side, regardless of logic, morality or law. It boils down to the golden rule, "he with the gold makes the rules" and this administration. like those before it, and those who will follow, owe too much to the ball bags who are the oppressors. The politicians have too much to lose financially to bite the proverbial hand which feeds them.

But what I really want to know is the range on the hybrid. I am an outside sales rep and REALLY rack the miles, like 38K a year. Something like this could be GREAT for me and would likely be worth a look if it got me HOV lane privlidges and I could run 2 days on 2 gallons of fuel... However, if it does not have sufficient range it is of little use to me. Also, what will the price be for the hybrid? The all electric would be great, but I don't have 8 hours in the middle of my day to recharge the thing.
Ford focuses are also notorious deathtraps. The cars crumble more than any other car in their market. Engine will drop at the slightest of frontal impacts (we're talking bumper dent equivalent).

Also, my sister is alive today because the Focus she was in did its job when she was invloved in a frontal colision when some drunk douche bag ran a red light going over 60 MPH in a Toyota Tundra.
Her only injuries were aches and bruises, and some cuts from the broken glass.

I had a lot of fun helping young adults get started learning about electronics with the Parallax kits. The WHAT IS A MICROPROCESSOR kit is a great place to begin. Explains in great detail what things are and how they interact in a system. Also teaches some entry level programming for the microprocessor. From there move into the SCRIBBLER or BoeBot kits, to put the hardware and processor into action with the skills you learned in the WHAT IS A MICROPROCESSOR kit. The kits are fairly inexpensive, and really build upon one another. Then work into the different sensors and their opperation and code to implement them, and the robotics components and their role and code in the system.
They are fun, inexpensive, and a great place to start for the novice.
