I should restate that: as an obvious Trump troll, you can come out of the closet and just be a real Nazi now.

So by your logic, all the web sites associated with the alt-right should get a similar order because there was an actual terrorist attack here in the US where someone was killed and a bunch of people got hurt. That is a much bigger crime then a riot.

What are the chances of that happening? ::Sound of crickets::

I can't help but wonder. If there was a collection of data on alt-right/Nazi sites, would you be on that list?

Well, if anyone but Trump was in the White House, this would be the subject of a press release/briefing by the State Department. It is part of their duties to publicly scold entities outside the US who violate human rights. Not to imply that these scoldings are based on a uniform standard, but anything in China is routinely brought up as an example of bad behavior.

With the dynamic duo of Trump and Tillerson, who knows? Trump is unlikely to know or care. because his name would not be associated with any of it. Trump's name recognition for the Trump name is the single criteria for Trump to pay attention. No Trump name, no Trump interest.

Note: the preceding paragraph has a high enough percentage of the word Trump to make it interesting to the President.

The Trump/Tillerson State Department is a dysfunctional mess. It is entirely possible that this Chinese action would slip through the cracks. They have still not appointed a fair number of ambassadors. Trump's foreign policy is rootless and subject to his whims. There is no coherent doctrine. Tillerson falls into the mold of having no public sector experience and very minimal exposure on how international diplomacy works. Unless you include Tellerson's Exxon helping the Russians evade international sanctions.

So yes, it is entirely possible that this will get no formal government response and even less press coverage. Welcome to Trump World.

You are 100% completely wrong. Oil Depletion Allowance:

The oil depletion allowance in American (US) tax law is an allowance claimable by anyone with an economic interest in a mineral deposit or standing timber. The principle is that the asset is a capital investment that is a wasting asset, and therefore depreciation can reasonably be offset (effectively as a capital loss) against income.

The oil depletion allowance has been subject of interest, because of the relationship of big oil with the US government, and because one method (percentage depletion) of claiming the allowance makes it possible to write off more than the whole capital cost of the asset.

The fossil fuel industry gets phenomenal tax breaks and it has going as far back as 1913. In 1926 the oil depletion tax break was 27.5 percent annually, and it stayed at that level until Jimmy Carter was President.

Wrong. That was exactly trickle down. No matter what they call it, or who is getting the free ride, the Republicans have had nothing but trickle down since Regan. All Republican flavored tax cuts and deregulation plans are just another form of trickle down.

It never works. The top 1% and above reap huge profits from deregulation and government subsidies. Then when the inevitable crash comes the wealthy are the ones who are bailed out and everyone else is left in the lurch.

This is what happened in the 2008 crash. For 95% of the country there was no real recovery. People who lost their houses never got another chance to own a home. Those who lost their jobs are earning a lot less. Real wages are flat or declining. Meanwhile zero interest rates are making Wall Street and others in the corporate criminal economic sector richer then they have ever been.

The about to fail health care reform/swindle is trickle down. A lot of middle class and below people loose medical insurance and a few at the top get billions in tax breaks. In this case the billions are not some hyperbole number like "a gazillion", but actual decreases in their taxes to the tune of billions of US dollars. Real free money, and a real redistribution of wealth from the less well off to the ultra rich.

It's a Republican masturbation fantasy come true (pun intended).

In addition, the anti-Obama posts are a related form of propaganda. First, they imply that whatever Trump is doing is OK because Obama was worse. Besides being factually incorrect (i.e. lying) it is nonsensical because two wrongs do not make a right. Imagine a presidential campaign run the on the slogan "Not as terrible as the last time". That would not get anyone elected, so why is it being brought up now?

Attacks on Obama by Trump trolls are also disinformation intended to undermine people's belief in the integrity of the political process. It's another classic propaganda technique that the Russians like to use. Not that they are the only ones who do this, but it is a favorite, just like their use of poison as an assignation technique.

Are there individuals on the internet who are doing this deliberately on behalf of the Russian government. The answer is absolutely yes. Intelligence sources have said so on multiple occasions. Additionally there is a vast amount of home grown propaganda generated by the US right wing. Fox "News" presents slightly less crazy distortions of reality, but online and radio media outlets spew deranged concepts that are a full on propaganda storm.
