How much of the 150 GB is needed to backup.

I currently am using about 120GB, but must of it is games (no need to back up) uncompressed (DVD) movies I havn't burned yet, but I can re-rent them need be. I have photos, but only a few gigs of them.

A sloppy back up of lets just do my /home (lots of long videos I don't need to backup, some knoppix ISOs that are old) is around 8 or 9 GB.

If I want to do my Linux games (pain in the ass to install) its another 6GB.

But for 150 dollors I can get USB2 drive and back it all up anyway.

I personally just back stuff up over the network. If the house burns down the least of my worries is going to be the data I have that was not important enough to leave a copy at work.

So if a company gives out 10% of prophit in bonus's it cuts prophit by 10%, but if they give out 5 times that value in stock options (depending on the company/market trends a long option is worth between 20 and 33 percent of the present value of stock). The shareholders pay for it in the fact that their shares lose some value, and the company pays for it in lost potential capital liquidation (they sell shares that would fetch more on the open market for less then market price) but it does not show up as an expense on the balance sheets, so if the company stock is moving up fast enough nobady notices/cares.

If a company sets the strike price of the option high enough to guarentee that the options only have value if the company performs well is ideal for performance based compensation IMHO.

Draft bills that don't allow anyone out are anti war , not pro war. I personally believe that it is only ethical to enstate one in a time of peace to promote peace though. Because it is bad enough to have war, but to pull in non volentiers is worse.
