To me, a 44kHz 16-bit MP3 at 192kb/s sounds just the same. I would rather buy the CD and listen to it in the CD player
I believe there are hard-drive based media players for the car than can play WAV or FLAC files. Definitly a lot more portible than your setup and you don't risk scratching your CDs to death.
The near zero cost of communication is the root cause of spam
Er, no. Microsoft and there other friends in big business land like to say this a lot. But really, isn't the root cause of spam the people who pay the spammers?

How can you hide a radar? It needs to transmit enough power in it's area of interest to cause a strong enough reflection to detect. Putting an RF shield around it would be pointless surly?
I like AA fonts on my main desktop.. but one really good use for them is on laptops. Using sub-pixel rendering it really makes fonts very clear compared to their normal smooth or normal cousins.
The only disadvantage I've seen with smoothed fonts is with really small text. It's impossible to read them, but I believe there is a cut-off point that forces these small fonts to be rendered normally.
people using these domains for email regularly travel to branch offices where they change their outgoing smtp server to whatever server is local to that office
Why the hell would they stick a Photoshop lens flare render over the top of a real sun?!
The sun is just outside the frame to the right. That image is a composite, which is mentioned elsewhere but not on that mirror.
Ed Hengeveld has used portions of 5863 to 69 to create this view of Buzz on the porch. Neil did not capture the top rear of the LM with these pictures and Ed has filled the gap with a portion of AS11-44-6576, which was taken in orbit after undocking.

They'll start using IPv6 about the same time they start using PNG.
I tried making my own a few years back, but I didn't have a printer back then. I used a special pen instead and although the circuit worked, it looked like a work of Picasso. I've stuck with using veroboard since then.
How did you transfer the image to the board? Most of the methods I've seen involve printing the circuit on a transparent sheet and overlaying that on the board - then exposing the whole thing to UV light before putting it in the etching fluid.
The transparent sheets are rather expensive, not to mention the UV lamp. So if there's an easier and cheaper way I might give it a try again!
My first reaction was "They put a friggin microphone on a spacecraft (with my second being 'and it worked??!!").
Then I read the article and found out that they were recording the em pulses resulting from the space dust being turned to plasma by the force of the impact.
I believe the Huygens lander has a microphone. When I first saw the title I thought that's what they had used.
Does anyone know if this new version of Gnome will take advantage of the eye-candy features of the new X.org server?
Now that Nintendo is coming under pressure from products like the N-Gage
I didn't realise that a vacuum was considered a pressure?
This will cure your hangover.

We don't do that "Class of " stuff where I live.
Class of 2008
Did I just sleep through 4 years or is this some strange university thing? If I did sleep, anything interesting happen in those 4 years?
Within the decade the spinning hard disk may go the way of the floppy and CRT.
You mean cheaper and more popular despite there being better alternatives?

Here ya go, from Sharp's website.
I dunno about you, but I'm convinced!

I'm just worried they'll release a chip called the 'Blunkett'. The CPU that runs you!
Yea it's safer to wait. Here's hoping!
Does the Windows retail box have the Linux installer like UT2004 does? Or will I have to wait for a Linux specific box of the game?
It's just I haven't seen any mention of Linux anywhere except to say that there is a Linux and Mac version.
Time to move to the Amiga!
Why must they keep using the memory stick! It's dead Jim! Stop beating the dead horse!

Or, just restrict your users to a couple of static SMTP relays. I assume they have net access at these offices.
Most clients I've seen support SMTP AUTH rather nicely.

This is your problem, not SPF.

That's a nifty method. Must give it a try.
Thanks!

I doubt it would have heard anything anyway.

Goverment regulation could be a blessing.
...
Which government tho? And if all the governments have different regulations
Could be ugly(er)!
