You're all asking me for Jack's Email and or phone number and I respect that. The problem is that I can't give that info out. The fact is that Jack had time to call me after I sent him a sarcastic email. I have no doubt in my mind that he would try and pull some legal bullshit if I post his phone number.
Though, Gabe should also note that Jack's information is a matter of public record. And can be found on www.flordiabar.org
"WinFS, I'd be the first to say, is very ambitious. Nobody has ever brought together the world of documents, media and structured information in giving you one simple set of verbs that lets you richly find, move around and replicate those things."
The point is, that Goldeneye was one of the most popular FPS games ever. Weather or not it was good, or even any better than PC games. What my point is, that Bungee released Halo and it was a great success. So, naturally, the follow up with a sequal. But to fill the gap, they try to pass off some piece of crap they call a PC game and expect everybody to buy it.
"PC games will never go away, but if the market keeps shrinking due to the increasing ease of piracy... then the number and quality of games will almost certainly decrease."
Howabout, make good games and people will be less likely to copy them because they will actually want to support good games. I mean, you can't just throw in a few palm trees and call it "Battlefield Vietnam" as opposed to "1942". What next, paint everything beige and call it "Battlefield Desert Storm." Howabout "Battlefield: We'e running out of ideas." There are countless games like this, no new ideas no innovation. Just one recycled idea after another. The differences between Unreal 2K4 and Unreal 2K3 involved just making a bunch of new maps adding more trite phrases like, "Ownage!" Or howabout another Tom Clancy based Spy game. There's only so many ways you can make killing terrorists interesting. Oh, here's one last good idea. Let's take the most successful console FPS since Goldeneye, deley it's PC release for years. And, once everybody is sick of it, try to sell it on PC. My advice to game companies, get a fucking clue, people aren't buying your shit because it is shit. They'd rather play shit for free.
Great idea, why not start with integrating a web browser. And while we're at it, let's add the ability to execute native code in the form of ActiveX controls, thereby eliminating any possibility of making a good sandbox environment -- oh wait...
Not so much, because if you remember way long ago Microsoft did have an AV program. It was crude, buggy and really not too good. However, it did what it was supposed to. It met the consumer demand for a basic in-the-box virus scanner, nothing more. People still bought third party applications.
According to the document, the updated firewall may prevent computers from properly connecting to outside networks, limiting systems' abilities to effectively receive data.
Isn't that what a firewall is supposed to do, limit connections such that a trojan/virus/spyware or something couldn't get out or in?
If they're going to the trouble (wasting CPU cycles) of individually tagging or re-packaging each download, they might as well go to the trouble of md5sum'ing each download and providing an md5sum of each one as well. That shouldn't be too much to ask. We, as users, should also have our rights to keep our systems clean and secure.
Maybe we're jumping the gun on this, it could have very well just been a mistake due to the fact that it's not really known why they froze their account. It could very well just be a mistake...
the problem with regular CDRs is that if you bang them around enough the silver stuff (what the data is burned to) flakes off because it's not encased in the plastic. [...]

More manipulation of the power triangle!

Isn't Springfield built right next to Shelbyville?
But it's only been like 10 years since Al Gore invented it.

Smells like vaporware to me....
The problem has damaged the company's reputation and the "trust rating,"
So not too much has changed, then.

Will artificial eyes and retinal replacements someday be as good as good human eyes?
Who knows, someday they may be better than natural human eyes. Maybe, people will opt to have their eyes replaced as a luxury some day.

Let's all buy some stock in Animotion!
Time to buy stock in Animotion...d'oh!
Good, they need it.
Howabout Exhange, oh wait...

Just imagine then trying to follow the dialogue in your favourite DVD movie with the constant din of your computer in the background.
When you live in a small college dorm room, hearing your computer while watching your favorite movie is just part of how it is.
Well, if that's the case, why haven't they threatened the development of gaim-e or gaim-encryption?
The 1994 image took 100 Sparc Station 1's a month to generate.
Probably because you used Java...
"Now now kids, you can still see fart jokes on Nickelodeon!"
Hehe, I just couldn't help myself.
