I think that the Star Ocean series has perfected what a dynamic battle system should be like by now. I can't say that Star Ocean 4 was better than the third one but the combat system was improved, that is if you weren't playing on 1080p where the game would constantly crash on the 360 (no probs on the ps3 version as far as I hear). More games needs to have this kind of combat engine and I think that is what square-enix is looking for, for a FF game. Right now it just feels as if they are creating sonic games where they're not sure where they need to be taking Final Fantasy and wing things out for the masses.
Final Fantasy 13's battle system could have been much better if you didn't have to be near the end of the game to change your party members, leader, and have a reasonable range of skills and items. The problem is that the currency wasn't really available to afford much of the available items, and even then you didn't have stat boosting items which would have in my opinion made the battle better. Although, you don't really fight too much in the game like previous FF games and I couldn't beat FF12 because I got tired of the battle engine being so terrible. FF9 was the last great FF game in my opinion and whoever says that FF8 was terrible needs a good kick in the nuts.
Spider Worm, Spider Worm, does whatever a Spider Worm does, can it swing, from a web, yes it can, because its a Spider Silk Worm, look out, here comes the Spider Wuuuuurm~~~
Sure, I own every Nintendo system ever made in history with the exception of the two new DS systems but I do have the DS Phat and DS Lite. I don't ever play with them and it was a waste of money because the gimmick is what got me. Same thing happened with the wii. I got lucky and got mine really early and enjoyed playing all 10 or 11 games that I own... well, at least until a year and a half ago. Nintendo is amazing at releasing gimmicks and milking their franchises. I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up getting a 3DS but that will wait until there's a decent lineup of games. I put too much trust in the Wii to host a wide library of good games. I remember when I got my 360, I bought 6 games within the first week and many more afterwards because there are some great games and don't rely on gimmicks. Same with my PS3, I got 3 games initially and now I own 14 and have interest in buying 9 more games in the coming months. Besides that I'm anxious to see where 3D is heading...
Oh and if anyone asks, which nobody will... I buy all my games new unless they are retro and don't sell them at the store anymore. I also keep my games instead of selling them to places like gamestop. Support the devs, buy new and rarely used:)
But I LOVE fart apps! There's no better feeling than to tell your wife that you're going to grab something from another isle and discretely put a timer fart in her pocket when there's a bunch of people around. Common!
For a minute I thought that meant all live users would have their accounts migrated over, but in reality it's just spaces users. I have yet to actually talk to someone who has a Live Space account and that's probably why Microsoft is doing the switch. That's probably good but do people still blog these days? Last I heard, millions of blogs are being abandoned because it's phasing out and takes too much time to maintain them.
I believe that when government employees or any employee of any company handles sensitive data such as social security numbers, credit cards, etc.. should all be given thorough background checks because there's no telling just how many employees actually take advantage of their position to steal from the people they "help". Sexual background checks are good in schools to prevent child molesters from teaching, however I don't think sexual history makes any difference if you're in the JPL since your sexual history probably comes as short as your hand. The model of "one-size-fits-all" doesn't work, and I believe that these strict regulations should be given more thought onto where they should be applied and less on employee privacy.
So more coverage for porn downloads, I approve!
The opinions posted from this user does not in any way reflect the company as a whole, but rather the individual himself. However, you may speculate as you please, it is your right to do so unless you live in North Korea.
Thankfully it's not Toyota because people might not be able to stop running when a floor-mat gets stuck under its feet because we all know the accelerator would have been positioned there.
People will pay whatever you want them to pay if you prove that your product is worth it. Final Fantasy 14 costs $50 just for a copy with presumably 15-30 days of gameplay. Then an additional $13 per month and $1 per character. In a few months the cost will reduce to $0-$15 for the disc or download and $13 per month and $1 per character. What you do is you milk money from whoever is willing to pay it first and then lower your price when sales are low and claim it as a promotion. You see this on xbox live all the time and people who are eager will always pay more. IMO I think a good experiment would be to have a "stock market" type of DLC cost. The more popular the game is, the more expensive the DLC will cost. The less popular, the less it sells for but the moment people start buying it for cheap, then the value of it goes up again automatically. It pretty much self-balances itself in theory.
Anyone traveling across the border may be familiar with Gaylord, Michigan. Canada has a lot of odd names if you google up "weirdest Canadian town names" and I'm sure every country has their own share of oddball names. For a company who created Bing Maps, you'd wonder why they would even have a problem with city names.
Most of the classes I've seen at Berkeley have impossible to complete exams where the highest grade might be a 85% at the end of a final. The teachers purposely make it this hard and grade it on a curve and personally I think that there's too much variance but it seems to work since it's one of the better schools out there. In the end, if you fail your final and so do your peers so you can all get a good grade except for the one at the bottom.
Sweet! But too bad I've been using Intel for the past 5 years and until AMD surpasses Intel I'll have to stick with the adhesive. If that time has already come and AMD / ATI is better than Intel / NVIDIA, please let me know, I haven't payed attention to these things this year.
Isn't it obvious that anyone of any age, race or whatever will feel more upset if someone their age does something stupid? It's like if you were born in Ohio and all you hear is news like "crazy lady fights over chicken nuggets". It makes you embarrassed to say you're from Ohio. If they truly want stats, I'd say cat videos are the number one downloaded videos by elder women, and jackass-like failed stunts are viewed most by elders along with little girls (or boys?) playing at a pool. Or perhaps they watch videos of kids playing on people's lawn so they can yell in anger to get off that person's lawn!
Add a few laser "command centers" around orbit and have an online vector game ready to destroy the debris. Personally I liked the previous suggestion of space baseball.
It always crashes everytime I start it up, all drivers are up-to-date on my PC, etc.
You should try the new Press Release and Shuttle Reschedule Simulation Game available for free on Steam. It educates you on the procedures used in events similar to yours. By my guess, you may need an additional $500mil plus 6-months before relaunching the program again.
While I do generally agree with your statement, anything and everything can go wrong, and in a virtual world, that is what would make this an exciting game. Except well, it's not... I understand why NASA did what they did... But... My... my god, I'm having an aneurysm.
If it's the same as WW2 veterans complaining about CoD games, the letter of complaint will be titled "Get off my lawn!" Truth of it is, people are straying away from traditional morals and begin to understand how it's all opinionated. However, that doesn't mean it's a good think for humankind as a whole, but it's not the minority of complainers that matter to companies like EA, it's what the majority wants. Your typical corporate cut-throat corporation prefer numbers over good PR but if they can do both they are doing something really well. If the majority wants a game that depicts something so grotesque and the government doesn't disallow it and it gives the company an enormous amount of money, they might actually do it (sadly). Who knows, but then again our children and their children will all have their own different views about what's ethical and what's not. Bugs Bunny used to have a lot of racism in their episodes because it was acceptable, now racism isn't acceptable. Feminism, stereotypes, homosexuals, the list goes on... The world is opening their eyes and hopefully for the better and in my opinion I would like to see more simulated war games like modern warfare. But that's my opinion and it's nothing more than just one of millions. Which ever opinion is highest regarded will likely be the next trendy game scenario.
The FCC got to him and put five blades to his neck until he censored his own post. It may have been traumatizing for him but to the FCC, as long as fuck wasn't mentioned on the internet. You know, swearing is a lot like mentioning candleja----
I registered a long time ago for a beta but they never sent me one. I'm kind of sad because I was looking forward to trying this concept. But, knowing what is going on now, and what they are doing, I don't think that I care too much about OnLive anymore. Perhaps in the future we can see something come out of this that functions like it should but with the way computers and networks are currently engineered, there is no affordable way at least in my opinion to service what they want while maintaining the integrity of the games and performance.
Fortunately you don't have to spend over $2000 for a really good gaming rig these days. Even a $900 custom built computer will run virtually any PC game at their highest settings and you can easily expand with an SLI card, RAM, and perhaps even solid state disks. Perhaps by 2016, PCs will be even more affordable than they are today:)
It's not only intimate but it seems that people here prefer articles about feces over technology news. The amount of comments here is astounding. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll go improve my immune system lol jk
Nuke the whales!

There is no 'u' in honor. (That's the joke)

With enough fiber in your diet, you won't have to wake up in the middle of the night in anger.

It is now safe to turn off your computer.
