*ahem* that one is broken, and it says so in the item description.
i bid on a broken ipod the other day (description clearly stated the unit did not work) in hopes of getting the accessories (esp the charger) for a decent price. i maxed out at 50$, bidding finally ended at 275$.
i wonder how much a _working_ walkman would go for.
the "fine print" isnt really that fine. the pre-rebate cost is printed in the same size font as the post-rebate cost on BBY tags. the rebate amount is usually smaller, but thats really neither here nor there.
your friend should roll over to bestbuy - they got about 300 per store, plus a ton of games, and very nearly every store (at least in the baltimore area) had a ton of stock left at the end of the day.
The problem you see with technical CEOs who lack marketing sense (vs the other way around) is that a company will have a lot of failed products that were pretty cool, but not terribly useful, and certainly unprofitable.
just like everything else in life, its all about balance (business savvy vs technical vision)
youve got to be kidding me - apple didnt steal the GUI from anyone, thats all technology they developed/own (except maybe the X11 bit, but thats only if you need it).
theyve recontributed MORE than what they need to by opening the source for darwin. what about quicktime streaming server? real charges an arm and a leg for thier streaming apps - apple gives it out for free!
whats more you dont give a good reason WHY they should contribute anything of value back. given that apple has thousands of developers, im sure they could have chosen to just rewrite the whole base operating system. instead they take an existing project (smart) and make it better. and the part that took actual work (making a really nice gui) is what they charge for.
newer HPs (everything using the 50 series and later, at least) will not print without both cartridges installed, and with the correct carts on both color and black/photo.
my lexmark z45 on the other hand is more than happy to print with just the black installed. call them evil if you wish, at least they let you use what youve got.
without taking the side of piracy, i doubt the artists are getting paid for this service either way. to the RIAA, whatever they get is probably pure profit.
I would posit that most people do not "love" windows the same way that they "love" their ipods. The silly little white bricks almost have a personality, whereas windows loses your term paper.
depends on which keyboard you get. this 9$ logitech job i have has alt rightmost (windows/command in the middle) on a PC, but if you plug it into a mac, it swtiches the layout.
if you plug an apple usb keybaord into a PC (at least with the one i have, from an older g4/400) the alt key is the alt key, and the command key is the windows key. they are just in the "wrong" spots (vs pc104).

i replaced my nomad II with a rio500, and even though it had fewer features, it was a good sight better of an MP3 player.
gave it to a roommate when i got my ipod, and im pretty sure he still uses it when he jogs.

considering? RewardZone already exists and crazy popular amongst people who stop in bestbuy.
actually the trend in the last couple of years is 70+% redemption, meaning they arent nearly as profitable as they used to be.
have you seen how big some of the SUVs get? those certainly make two-lane roads incompatible with anyone eles car...
you did read the bit about the needles right? junkies dont care what they eat, its not like anything tastes bad when you are high...or so ive heard...

the

the 7100 was "Sagan" (the 6100 was "Piltdown Man" and the 8100 was "Cold Fusion") [link]
sosumi the system sound was included in system 7, several years before the 7100 was ever created (that shipped with 7.5) [link]

"idiot" - i think you dropped this, it looks like it fits in between "since gamers"
not all gamers are stupid enough to buy a card that will give them no performance gain. just most of them.

No you cant, graffiti was shot down. You have to use the even more effecient graffiti2.
Unless you find the original libraries out on the net and can upload them into the device overwriting the old ones, that is.
