    As it turns out, they have about a 20 year cycle, so you can buy it for your grandkids, and your kids can relive their childhoods. They have a pipeline of old fairy tales that they reissue in live movies, live ice skating shows, cartoons, spinoffs, repeat ..... wait, has there been a Star Wars on Ice yet?? Give them time.

    Maybe, but Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu, Ubuntu MATE, or Ubuntu with Cinnamon?

    And why not a derivative, like Zorin, Mint, Bodhi ... etc.?

    Choice is good. If it's not, there's Ubuntu Unity.

    What we need are drivers, apps, and hardware that doesn't have Windows but costs the same (or less). To do that we need bigger market share. There's a sweet spot between getting the stuff we need and getting the malware that is now targeted at Windows.

    I started with Mint 6 years ago, but lately Cinnamon crashes on me and my NVidia driver bites me in the ass every upgrade. I have no problem with Ubuntu MATE.
