Science is demonstrable, repeatable and self-correcting. Most importantly: Science Delivers. Not understanding the intricacies doesn't make it "faith".
Faith is an idea with no evidence to back it up no matter how adept the 'experts'. Even more important, the 'experts' often don't agree on even the basics. Witness all the various religions and factions thereof.
Not yet, but it would certainly be a miracle if they did!
+1000 "absolutely true"
Science has brought us actual physically verifiable objects, even though I personally might not understand all of the details which led to the object's existence. Even scientific "theory" is based on data that we can verify - and science is willing to accept when it is wrong and make constant adjustments to get more accurate over time.
Has a Christian "expert" ever actually turned a river to blood, resurrected someone who was dead for three days, or created a woman from a rib bone?
If you are surprised that ads are misleading and if you find "actors pretending to be real people" out of the ordinary then you should really go outside for a little bit.
Go on, the fresh air will be good for you, and will give you a chance to get rid of that "Mom's basement" smell.
The point here is that although people think it's easy to build OSes, building one that's full featured and modern is extremely hard and can't be done by just throwing money at people . It takes years for bugs to be found and shaken off. See how Nokia failed inspite of employing tens of thousands of people to work on Symbian and Meego/Maemo. If Motorola is looking to build something from scratch, I am not optimistic.
You realize that Meego/Maemo is all Linux based as well, right?
Don't we already have some sort of huge network that allows other computers throughout the world to communicate to each other? Now it only we had a name for it.... I know we can call it the interweb!
And won't my offensive computer know what your defensive computer tends to call, given the situation?
I think the same could be said about real coaches though too. Most coaches will start to develop a "style" and if you pay attention to them enough you can usually get a good idea of what they will do next.
iOS was not designed from the ground up. There is a significant amount of code shared between OS X and iOS. Pretty much the only code not shared is interface code. Sure they probably made tweaks to iOS to help give better battery life, but most of the battery saving is in the fact that it uses an ARM SoC, vs an x86 CPU.
Personally, I would go with a Lenovo Thinkpad for your laptop needs. Sure they might not be considered to be as good as when made by IBM, but they are still a step above the rest in my opinion.

He was just trying to be hip and cool!
Slashdot just keeps getting better and better! Can't wait to use this on future articles
Excuse me, but REAL coders use butterflies

Sounds exactly like Java. (And we know how Slashdot feels about Java.)
Its terrible? Unless it has to do with Android, then its the best thing since bag phones!
Mod parents up! That is some great insight you have there on why Google has done what that have done with Android

The only way to stop piracy is to make it legal to download all of the movies, music and games that you want.
The iPad2 didn't ship with a SD card slot at all
Well actually VirginMobile gets all of its network from Sprint... in the US at least :)
Don't forget the pigs!
But pendulums do!
And they probably aren't always wearing pants! ZING!

Time to sick the gnu on him!
Citation needed.
Red hat definitely is important though in the fact that their developers contribute huge amounts of code back into the community.
Thats odd. I have to problem viewing those demos with the latest version of Chromium
Nothing like throwing away perfectly good hardware.

We all know that coat hangers are where its at...
Real men write their own OSs and drivers.
Where their grammar from summary go?
Perhaps Ubuntu could change their slogan into "All your base are belong to us!" to help gain popularity again.
