  1. A Question. on Jobs to India -- A Broad Look · · Score: 1

If my job goes to india, can my bills go too?

Okay, now here's my real question, what kind of opportunities does this present for opportunistic Americans who see this trend this early in its cycle? Should I go back to school to learn how to manage Indians over the phone? They speak english, so I don't have to learn Hindi (or another dialect). What about starting an outsourcing company? If its going to happen anyway, why not cash in..

It seems to me a lot of (accredited)online universities have come a long way in the last few years. Not to mention brick and mortar universities offering online degrees. Has anyone gone through this type of program? I'd be very interested to hear your experience, as well as any scoffs you may have had by a potential employer..

Not exactly. The search engine user just has to be a little more search engine savvy. For instance, if you are looking for information about the 'place' Bermuda, but want to avoid all the advertisments, put "Bermuda -hotel" into google. Shows up with airline ticket ads? Then change it to "Bermuda -hotel -airfare". Basically you can strip down your searches, get through all the chaff and find what you are looking for.

My parents think its faster to just get out a piece of paper to write a letter, and to call the airlines to buy your tickets.

Which is how they do it today.

If you used a VR OS to do your everyday work, then buying tickets and writing a letter with a good old fashioned screen full of windows with a keyboard & mouse would be a royal pain in the ass.
