I love moon conspiracy. But the truth is they probably just misplaced them. Maybe the Ark of the Covenant melted the paint of the lunar tape boxes as well.
I won't plagurize more then the Subject without giving credit. comingsoon.net has two paragraphs about Asminov's daughter's take on the movie.
To quote the site, quoting her: "'I, Robot' is respectful of my father's work and faithful to the spirit of his stories. I think the film's exciting presentation of a world where robots are part of everyday life will attract a new generation to his books," said Robyn Asimov.

You can read it yourself, but I am at least willing to see the movie, though it looks more like T4 then anything else IMHO.
You might as well add listening to a song to your list. Like it or not when you listen to a song (or anything else for that matter) your brain stores a copy of it in your head.
A few more monthes of my online pcychic classes and I'll be able to broadcast all the songs stored in my head to the masses. Guess I'm a lawsuit waiting to happen!
" It only makes it easier when they need to confiscate them later!!"
Umm... 90% of them are in-gound garage shelters (you park your car over it until you need it). You would need a Jedi Knight to lift it out of the ground, and one preferably with a little more training than those those oppressed Aussies ( Australia Oppresses Jedi).
What the hell planet are you from? You sound like a "feminized red diaper doper baby" to quote Mike Savage. To even suggest that those who enlist do it because they are tricked into thinking it is something like CounterStrike is pure ignorance. These brave kids know what they signed up for. They do it out of love for a great nation and a desire to do something with thier lives.
You may not agree with the war and thats fine. You may have issues with CNN, which seems odd cause you sound like a liberal and CNN is about as liberal news as you can get (though they are getting better now that Donahue and Chung are gone). But I have no idea what you can have against the troops.
Personally, I think too much war coverage is on the news. I do agree they promote it for ratings, but it is also to counter the propaganda that is being spewed out of other nations who do not support the United States actions.
Now I'll get off this soap box and get back to reading the rest of this discussion. I know this is flamebait, but I couldn't sit and let someone take a cheap shot at our military. Those kids deserve a lot more respect and credit than you give.
The reason we can't go back to the moon is simple. Our technology has advanced so much that the very equipment that was used to fake the moon landing is now so outdated that it would look absurd! If they tried it using new technologies, people would easily see the difference.
It's like the Star Wars remakes. Technology has advanced so much that watching the two side-by-side the new ones, though cooler looking are still more unbelievable.
Flame bait? Sure, but with on ounce of truth included.
The real reason for this push is to actually get there FOR REAL this time before some other country can to plant evidence making it look as if we actually landed before. If an other country even gets close they would realize our whole Lunar Landings were staged.
Maybe I've seen one too many fox tv shows, but this looks like a conspiracy that goes pretty deep.
Its not due out for over a another year, add on another 6-9 monthes to work out the bugs (typical Blizzard style) and you have ample time to save for the nameless *cough* X-Box console. Skipping a couple meals a month, over 18 monthes should do it. Besides, by then the price will have fallen even more!
as a form of objection to the actions of "big companies,"(i.e. I support the ripping of mp3s, and distribution, via Napster et al)
Translation: I am too cheap to buy the CDs myself.
I find it also interesting that you support mp3 distribution and in a sence "editing" the content of the artists CD yet you would consider a modified version of a video breach of copyright. Also interesting is how you easily label the record industry as a
"big company" yet you do not find the movie makers in the same category. I guess Disney, Fox, and the like ARE pretty small.
So you are saying if I saw Titanic in the theatre, went to refill my popcorn halfway through the movie and missed Leonardo and Kate in the car or whatever. According to you, now I have somehow missed what he (Cameron) intended and may no longer be watching a James Cameron film? Interesting.
As an artist, Cameron -or anyone else- should realize thier art will generate many effects. HOWEVER, they have no say in how I can or in what way I experience it.
Imagine going to an art show and having the artist standing right by you demanding you experience his/her art in this particular manner. Imagine me looking around the corner and seeing a glimpse of a Renoir, not caring to see it and having him run up and say you have to experience it like I intended and to do that you must see it as I want you to see it.
The truth is, Artistic Rights go as far as their orignial medium. They DO NOT extend to the consumer's authorized copies which they bought for personal use.
You must also be in favor of network television inforcing commercial viewing, because, hey, if you miss the commercials you are missing the expereince they have planned, invested time in, and prepared for you. Those are artistic rights, are they not?
When I managed the CS labs for my college we did this, but we got a local used software vendor to sponsor it. He supplied the licenses and got free advertising in return. It worked great.
Windows has been crashing my computers for years... so whats wrong with one Celine CD doing the same? At least they are telling you upfront. I have yet to find the label on Win98 that says the same.
You don't know of enough tech sites to claim that "almost every tech site" banded together on something. No one does. You don't know enough individual geeks to say that "almost every... individual geek" banded together on something. No one does.
I'm trying to understand how someone who accuses one side of presenting questionable info based on a lack of knowlegde can prove the other side with the same lack of knowlegde.
Show me all of the tech sites and geeks who did not participate....
My discrete structures class was all programming. I cant even spell Fibbinacci now but man, what a therom. That was my all time favorite class.
As for finnishing a degree in a year, thats like going fishing and asking the fish to jump into the boat just so you can say you have fished. Put in some effort, enjoy it, and try to LEARN something. I seriously doubt you [original post] know everything, even if you are a stud programmer.
At the last police auction I went to, I walked away with 2 mountain bikes and a 4 battery mag-lite; all for a dollar each. It seemed everyone knew not to bid and wait until it was over then offer a buck.

I only have one question, which one? I only recently learned there were internets, so maybe a bit of clarity would help.
Despite the jab, I still like Bush in 04.
No. No. No. Its not feel the urge to vomit, then play Celine. Its play Celine, then feel the urge to vomit.
1. Start rumors that you caused error
2. Deny everything
3. Hold out for book deal
4. Write your story
5. Make lots of money for screwing up.

Everyone knows about the OMEGA-13, we just aren't really sure what it does.

Sean... you are half right... he wasn't on FOX. However he was dropped from MSNBC, not CNN as I had previously said. Thanks for catching my error.

I thought one of the cool things about technology was moving towards a paperless medium.

It could be one, if one equals the set containing the three they listed.
So if you are grateful to miss the gratutitous scenes, why call your wife old fashioned and prudish.

I'm pretty amazed that someone so clever as L. Ron Hubbard would allow something like this to happen.
I thought the man was dead.
