It could be argued that Iraq's support for foreign (to Iraq) suicide bombers in the past (specifically their not insubstantial monetary support for their families) is tantamount sending them. The question then remains, did they directly support the families of the 9/11 attackers, and if not, did their support of terrorism in other theaters constitute tacit approval of the activity which DID affect us.

So using your line of reasoning: Assuming that Belgians made powdered milk that the Swedes then sent to Afghanistan to feed the children of the Mujaheddin during the Soviet invasion there, that that would've been enough reason for the USSR to nuke Belgium?

I'm confused. Help me out here.

They resisted giving that government the anonymous information, but I can tell you that when the gov has a subpoena with specific request for the searches from IP at Time on day they comply and hand over your private information without much of a problem.

Um, yes. Because there's a vast gulf of a difference between an actual case before a judge underlying the reqeust and what is basically a puritanical fishing expedition by the Justice Department.

Only if the predator has a FRICKIN LASER BEAM on its head! Being as most creatures don't come with light-emitting organs as standard equipment, this speculation falls short of an explanation.

Eh? I'm assuming you studied physics in Kansas too. Here's a simplified version of how it works:
    1. Sun emits photons (within the correct energy range, also known as light). Photons enter earth's atmosphere.
    2. Photons bounce off of creature.
    3. Bounced photons land on other creature's light sensitive patch.

See? That wasn't so hard. No lasers involved, just a gigantic nuclear furnace. Already accepted by most major religions.

If so, I'd like an example-- because I've never heard of a creature with a deep, light-sensitive pit in its body.

A friend of mine had given me, what I thought at the time was a great idea, this "See ID" advice and no, it is fucking stupid. Especially when you're in Mexico.

I tried to get some money from a Bureau de Change at Mexico international airport, since their ATM's didn't work. Of which there were two for the entire airport!

The ladies behind the bulletproof glass asked for my passport so they could check, I thought, that my name matched my picture matched my face.

But no. They just checked whether the signature in my passport matched the one on my credit card. Which of course it didn't. And no explaining in spanish would budge their opinion of the non-matchedness of the two "signatures". Denying me any hope of money and leaving me stranded in Mexico.

That was some mindblowingly great advice.
