The combination of the OpenPDA suite and the Au1100 processor sounds like a fantastic combo for the PDA market in opening new doors and ideas.
"The Au1100 processor is a MIPS32(TM) technology-based system on a chip (SOC) processor, and is available at speeds of 333MHz, and 400 MHz with power dissipations of less than 200 milliwatts and 250 milliwatts respectively."
I fail to see how Fox supports crap like King of the Hill and not good shows like Family Guy and Futurama. Sometimes I feel like the Fox Network is based out of Kentucky and just doesn't understand the brilliance of great cartoon comedy.
Any Win users see how much msbb.exe (packaged with Sandra Sisoft and possibly others) sucks up for resources? 6MBs of Mem Usage! If your games are magically lagging all of a sudden I suggest you check for it in Task Manager.
AT&T Wireless has had 2.5G in Seattle since late last year. We have been rolling out to major cities ever since. I have done several upgrades for 3G. It won't be long.
This site was/.'d VERY quickly! They must be running it off of a 56K voice line. Wouldn't it be nice to have an automatic google cached link for articles if it is available?
Yes! You too can take a system that was once valued at more than $10,000 and place Debian Linux on it and make it into those dsl/cable routers you see in retail stores go for around $100!! Or even into a Linksys Gigadrive that goes for $700!!
It is a pitty to see such fine hardware depreciate in value faster than a Ford Pinto.
Sprinks must be own by overture because they have been doing using this pay per click system with rankings for years. About.com is popular for using it in the bottom of the pages.
In my opinion the installation system needs improvement, the documentation and support on software is severely lacking such as helpful, intuitive documentation for the average computer illiterate. OLE is still horid right now and having outside applications in aid of this helps, but does not confront the underlying issue. Gaming support which highly drives the desktop industry is again, amazingly lacking in X. These are all improving in time and eventually we will get there. We are not there yet. As in servers. Nothing can compete with a highly optimized nix box. Any Win box has to deal with an abundance of software layers to go through when dealing with any process where is an nix box cuts straight to the chase.
Quite simple. Windows was/is the dominating end-user OS. DirectX cuts fat on that OS by bypassing several layers, which as a result, improves performance which can be quite advantageous against other software competitors in the game genre by using it. Also not re-writing code makes it a strong viable option as well.
Great idea. I run the Williams classic CD on my arcade cabinet. Mame-Arcade
Mame Arcade A purchase of the Classic Williams Pack and you are good to go. ;)

I still like my Slashdot Gladiator shirt. :)
I have found the PHP Bible by Converse & Park from Wiley to be a wonderful resource as well for PHP needs.
Left butt cheek, squeeeeze.
Right butt cheek, squeeeeze.
And this class, is why we don't use IIS for serving websites.

Someone better pick up the show. It is a shame to see good ones go.

For servers nix is amazing. For desktops, X still lacks too much to offer it as an alternative to Win.
