    This stuff has moved from physical bullying to virtual bullying. Here is what I learned from the article or had reinforced:
    * Teenagers suck.
    * Teenagers suck at coping with problems.
    * Teenagers suck at accepting change.
    * If you are teenager, know the laws regarding statutory rape because if you piss off someone, then their parents can press charges.
    * The belief that things will change if left alone is fantasy.
    * That examples like this happen all the time, now a bunch of kids have to cope with the fact that they treated someone like shit and she killed herself because of it. That's something that is probably going to stick with them years from now.
    * Teenagers suck.
    * Teenagers should probably be locked up at home until after high school.

    If corporate masters determine that a "war on drugs" is profitable or that a "war on piracy" is profitable, then laws either get changed to increase profit margins or loosened to increase profit margins.

Since then, I have seen my father pass away suddenly of cancer. My mother, myself, and my current wife all smoke and a year after his death, we still find it difficult to quit. I have heard it said that it is easier to quit heroin than it is to quit smoking.

    Quitting requires a complete life change and a lot of support from the people with which you work, live and are around.

    As for no side effects of this vaccine. I call complete bullshit. Ask any medical professional that is worth a damn and they will tell you that the introduction of any chemical into the system will have the potential of a side effect. 18. Obviously on Navigating a Geek Marriage? · · Score: 1

    The both of you already are taking this very seriously, which you should be. I will tell you, that I have been married twice. Once to a geek and once to a non-geek. The non-geek marriage lasted seven years and fizzled out. Part of the reasoning was that we could not find common grounds any longer.

    Currently, I have been married two years to a geek and it has been great.

    Some advice:

    First and foremost, communicate. Open and honest communication. You don't like the way she does something? Fine, just suggest to her that you would do something different. You don't like what she cooks? Tell her. But don't be an ass. I guess I should rephrase this all to be open and honest communication without anger.

    Second, make time for each other. Try and do stuff together. Not ALL the time, but on a regular basis. Have a "date" night. If you have kids, get a babysitter. Go see a movie or a concert or have a nice dinner or have a walk in the park or something.

    Third, you have your friends, she has hers. Don't forget that. When you get married, sometimes people cut off a lot of contact with nonmarried friends. This can lead to resentments later. Let her go out with the girls sometimes and you can go out with the guys. This philosophy also applies to your time/her time.

    Let's see, there's also agree to disagree on things. You each have a right to an opinion. I have heard the "don't go to bed angry" one before, but honestly, it's not relevant. Sometimes, if you have a fight, you both need the night to calm down. Another thing is, know how to tell if one another is mad and how to approach each other. Does she want to talk when she is angry or does she want to be left alone and will let you know when she has calmed down and is ready to talk and vice versa? This falls back to communication. Share in triumphs and share in tradegies, once you are married, you are one and the same. If she has a bad day, be sympathetic. Surprise her once in a while: if she isn't allergic, send her flowers or chocolates at work, if for no other reason than just to say you love her.

    There are many things you will learn, some may be pearls of wisdom from books, others may be common sense. The best teachers will be experience and patience. Remember to have plenty of patience. Always.

    Congratulations on your impending nuptials.

Many people just start in with some iteration "Officer, you need to hear my side of this" or "Officer, I was there, but I didn't do anything..." Inevitably, they wind up confessing to something stupid that leads to something else or they incriminate themselves with little effort. It is very wise to take the approach of be polite, keep it simple, when questions that are being asked that may be used to establish motive, that is when (even though by this point you have not been read your Miranda Rights) you can either ask if you are being detained and if not then you would like to leave. First of, if we want to drag this into a lengthy discussion regarding the politics of a defunct administration, the Geneva Convention is quite clear in Article 2.

    Article 2 In addition to the provisions which shall be implemented in peace time, the present Convention shall apply to all cases of declared war or of any other armed conflict which may arise between two or more of the High Contracting Parties, even if the state of war is not recognized by one of them. The Convention shall also apply to all cases of partial or total occupation of the territory of a High Contracting Party, even if the said occupation meets with no armed resistance. Although one of the Powers in conflict may not be a party to the present Convention, the Powers who are parties thereto shall remain bound by it in their mutual relations. They shall furthermore be bound by the Convention in relation to the said Power, if the latter accepts and applies the provisions thereof.

    Second, the part that I find interesting about the philosophy of treating this as an aggressive attack, possibly led by another nation, is that there will be a need to differentiate between a high school punk that is trying to probe something and someone else actually doing something. Now, also, reverse the position. What happens when the positions are reversed and some kids are able to break into a government system and commence the same kind of cyber "attack" against China or Russia or North Korea or Iran? How are we going to feel if they want to respond in kind? There is a HUGE difference between an "attack" and what amounts to "vandalism", "breaking and entering", "criminal trepass", denial of service, and whatever else some Feds can decide to come up in an attempt to nail someone. As for domestically, once determined, the individual(s) would be Federal crimes such as those or whatever else could be conjured up by an imaginative prosectution team in concert with authorities.
