Biggest Flop of 2005: The Media Center PC The product is supposed to bring the PC and TV together, but it's destined for the scrap heap of history. By Phillip Swann
Anyone else enjoying these advertising blocking mythtv boxes? I just finished mine a few days ago... What was that other successful program that blocks advertisements... oh wait, firefox!
anyone else think this thing was scripted? (here come the -1: troll points)...
logically, why would anyone think fedex only works 4 months out of the year? december and what 3 other months would he be thinking of? He lost of double jeopardy also... with such a dumb look on his face, which he's never had before. Maybe i've seen 'quiz show' too many times.
oh well, that's just my opinion, i could be wrong. conspiracy theorists put on your tin foil hats...
" The House voted 399-1 to approve the bill. Rep. Ron Paul (news, bio, voting record), R-Texas, who often votes against spending measures, cast the lone dissenting vote Tuesday."
basically he's the old guy on the simpsons who yells out 'neh' after it's all done.
They put out a crappy product, them make you pay for the knowledge of knowing it's crappy?
I already knew that! I should sell this knowledge on ebay, if there's already paying customers out there, there's bound to be millions of other idiots who will bid on it.
seriously though, we already get the updates before microsoft, from symantec and buqtraq. This is very sad for whoever is dishing out money to them.
I once saw a guy in a nearby city, who slapped all of the microwave guts into his car. Think of his car as a large microwave box, to bounce around the signals.
If the car was ever stolen, or driven without the keys, the guy would not only get cancer, but be cooked within a few minutes.
Fair trade to me, although he still had the car, we never got to see it in action.
in the time it took to write out that detailed reply, you could of configured firefox for your own 'personal' experience, or configured it to be exactly like opera.
I used to use opera, i loved the mouse gestures, the popup blocking, but i hated the ads.
I never tried mozilla because i didn't like the blocky texture that it had, and it just felt 'empty' when i first installed it.
A friend had firefox, i said, try opera, and after time testing it against a few heavy loading pages, opera was a *bit* faster because we configured it to open 128 server connections (sorry admins), but that was only on photoshop contests on fark, or other heavy image loading pages.
Other than that, we went feature for feature, they were the same speed on other pages, but what really got me was the mouse gesture trials (with the plugin extension) and the customized ad blocking (another extension).
After that, all the features we commonly used matched up, except gmail notification in firefox. These extensions were also really easy to install also, i've only been using it since this morning.
The sad part about this message is that it sounds like a piece of spam, marketting material. But i give this advice to opera users: you tried opera once, try firefox now.
one thing : i cant' figure out how to get every new window to open as a tabbed window, some open as a new firefox window. Oh well. I'll figure it out eventually... (there, now this doesn't sound like spam)
from what i've experienced, it's not what you know, it's who you know. Ask your friends if there are any openings were they are, and if you could fit in.
Also, on your resume, stretch the truth as far as you can, without lying. You know that job where once and a while you did a ipconfig/renew * instead of rebooting? that sounds like "Network administrator" to me, just make sure your refrences know what's up.

he's fired.
He wasn't part of operation fastink, that took place on april 21st ...
this is exactly the same information as we had yesterday. We just have to wait for sentencing in March.

Alright, animated topic icons!
I thought i was seeing things.
How long until this is padded on to the next patriot act?
I can just see Bush drooling over this.

all the benefits of firefox, and the biggest downfall of IE!
AOL couldn't of made a better decision on this one.
No wonder why it's #1!
If we could only charge our grandmothers for every time we fixed their cord not being plugged in...
Careful, make sure you say that you get the CD with the box on this one, unlike those 'ps2' boxes for sale.
here's the fix.
this will solve all the problems, the deficit, the idiots from texas, the war, the president won't be president anymore, etc.
Sell Texas back to Mexico.
think about it... it fixes everything.
apparently not, considering how the site is down.
it is now safe to take off your tin foil hat.
don't you see where this is going? first a 399-1 vote, next a 399-2 vote.
it's a slipperly slope i tell you.

let me get this straight.

I was skeptical at first.
It was a beat up truck, wires everywhere, and all i know is that it cooked a CD, which was proof enough for me that it worked.

yeah, i think we should go back to the $17.99 standard for cds at the music store, for the 12 track album.... that's much cheaper!
exspecially for those albums that only have one or two good songs that you listen to over and over.
I wish we could ask all company CEOs this question.

Give it a shot.

Moore's film has already made money. The bottom line isn't in the red anymore, and the studio is perfectly fine with that.
Grated, they would like to see a bigger profit, but they would rather get future Moore films than lose some money from people downloading it.
Some huge artist needs to join the bandwagon...
without that, or some pepsi backing, it won't win the 'music store race'
(where's limp bizkit, after their last album they would do something like this for the publicity)

since it has twice the bits it gets twice the postings... yay!
i thought of this too, but then i thought that they probably bought them 5/10/20 at a time as they grew.
