Has anyone else noticed that it is much easier to get a bad law passed than it is to get a bad law thrown-out? Either that or there has just been a huge glut of bad laws lately, and they "HAD" to pass some of them.
Even better, remote controls for the Air Traffic Controllers & cameras on the nose. We have unmanned spy planes, why couldn't we setup an emergency system on planes that are similar?
One step better, my step-father has two completely non-metal pistols (and yes he is licenced, and he does take them on planes).
They weigh about 5 OZ each and the only metal in them is the bullets. He doesn't carry them with him.
Another thought, if we had some armed peeps in the air (say 1/4 of the passengers on any given flight) would this stuff happen? I'd like to think that I, and most normal people, are responsable enough to not use a weapon unless my/their life was in danger. But, I'm probably wrong.
We played SimCity one period a day for a whole semester in (public) High School. This was supposed to teach us planning and organization skills. I don't think that the game did it by itself, but I'm still pretty organized 7 years later.
My step-father has an ionizer device it the power-recepticle in his truck. He can be smoking a cig with the windows up (or only down a tiny bit) and I can barely smell them in the passengers seat. Would a device like this render this system in operable? Would our police become lazy & dependent on this device when useing their judgement on puling people over?

1.) Remove Electronics
2.) Add thick coat off Rhino liner (what they use for rubberized truck beds)
3.) Allow to dry
4.) Replace electronics
You now have a shockproof badass TiBook

aren't there any REAL (large jet) pilots on /. that could tell us how hard/easy this would be?
I'm tired of listening to these posers ramble on about something they know nothing about.

I like PlasticOS better....it's an OS to control plastic!
Thanks

He said armed, stun guns & tasers would work just fine for this kinda stuff.
Jaysyn
No but I've read the Michael Crichton(sp?) book Rising Sun.
Jaysyn
Many thanks.
You should of waited a few day to write anything, you're coming off as a media vulture...oh, wait

A lot of major oil companies have decided to shut down their depots for the remainder of the week. I'm not sure why....

the difference was, there was no one in the buildings in fight club. No death, just a lot of rubble....

Hell, they could just change the name to PlasticOS, or BlockOS.
Jaysyn
Not as Draconian as the proposed bill. I'll be sending something similar to Rep. Aaron Bean.

Pluto was the Roman god of the Underworld & wealth...that's where the pluto root comes from.

Damn, well, I did just wake up...
in operable = inoperable
useing = using
puling = pulling
judgement = judgement | judgment
