I didn't try any ps3 games but ps2 games played fine.

I personally hate the need for an internet connection to play games. I think its more of a time thing than a pure internet connectivity thing. (my machine isn't always on the internet and I've had no problems till now)

    Clearly a stupid bug.

I love the OS but don't like Apple's forced hardware choices, way too limiting. They are shooting themselves in the foot, I know photogs who switched away and are never coming back because apple doesn't sell affordable towers.. Adobe lightroom makes it easy to move away.

I have a mac book and love the thing. I bought the Mac Leopard OS to install on it.

I don't want music with DRM.
(Legit complaint, now most music stores don't have DRM)

Now whats the excuse for pirating?

Doesn't anyone want musicians to earn something?

Seriously in case nobody noticed they Represent the "RECORDING INDUSTRY". Not you, not me, not the artists. Remember though, they (the RIAA) pay the artists much more than those pirating (where last time I checked the artists gets 0). So in some ways the RIAA way is protecting themselves, they overstep, but seriously look what they're up against.

As someone who knows 2 professional musicians, publicity is good but at some point you need to pay the bills. A lot of smaller bands give away music if you just take the time to visit their sites.

I like mac OSX a lot. I'm using it on a macbook and and old (needs to be replaced) dual 1ghz g4. I have 4 drives in the old g4 for a total of 1.5 TB (it has a sata card). I take a lot of photographs a do video editing , all the stuff that mac software makes usefull. I have a great lcd.

So what do I buy? I'd like a tower, but at 2500$ or whatever its too expensive. The mini doesn't have the expandable storage. FW800 might work with external drives, but I'd like lots of ram for photoshop and lightroom. When looking at 1200$ PC towers, they give a lot for that price.

I'm willing to pay a premium for OSX, but they don't have the hardware I want.

Thus the HW lock in I'm suffering. I use Apeture so I'm actually contemplating switching.

What bugs me, is that they should be trying to get market share up, so each machine is worth more (more software will be written). Gametap just dropped mac today.
