    You can just turn of iMessages and the conversation reverts to plain text messages. It has always worked for me.

    I agree, but it does teach logic, problem solving, and critical thinking. It will also teaches students to use a set of steps to solve a problem. Kids are not being taught a lot of these types of skills in school today. Most kids are taught Algebra and never use it -- but that's not the point. The underlying problem-sovling skills are what matters.

    It's a high-end, slick laptop with Linux preinstalled. In the past, Dell has focused on low-end Linux offerings. So it is very interesting -- this could be the beginning of a new trend if Dell can sell enough of them.

    True! It's the patent system that needs to be fixed! Maybe limit the number of years a patent holder can keep a patent without using it in an actual application!

    But this is not Malware! Just a rouge website with some crafty Javascript! The Windows version actually locks the computer and you are forced to Re-install Windows! ! On the Mac version, all you have to do is reset safari from the menu-bar and all is well again! It is very annoying to the end user, but that's all!

    iOS does not equal just iPhones, don't forget iPads and iPods. What is the combined marketshare of all iOS devices versus all Android? I"m just glad that there is healthy competition. It's making both platforms better.

    Your statement is spot on! MS have leveraged their monopoly on the desktop before and they are trying it again. It has worked in the past, and they think it will work again. I really think this is the reason MS were not worried about entering the touch market so late! I do feel that this time they will fail. They need a slap on the hand so they can get back to their core principles of building decent OSes for business.

    I'm just a lowly user, but I predict that the next big move that MS makes is to get rid of Steve Ballmer. And the second big move that MS is going to make is release Windows 8 Pro Classic -- which will simply be Windows 8 without Metro bolted on! They have no choice if they want to keep their business customers happy!
