I think our iPod's helped real me in a bit to the Mac style. We now have 4: 2 40 gig 3rd gen, 1 60 gig Photo, and 1 Nano 4 gig. Using the devices made me look more at Macs. I broke down and actually bought a 15" Powerbook which I now use daily in place of my aging T-22. Granted, now is probably NOT the best time to get a notebook with Apple switching to Intel and dual cores on the horizon but I was at a point where that 'ol 1 GHz P3 was feeling a tad sluggish...no, a LOT sluggish, esp with the 512 meg RAM cap.

Anyhow, I'll probably remain a PC user as well for gaming but I am keeping a close eye on Apple and will probably be a 50/50 Mac user.

So wait a second here. What exactly is 'positive proof of identification'? From the description of the lost data it would seem that it contains just about all the proof one would need (stupidly). The reliance on an account number (SSN) as a proof of identity is quite silly and makes me sick.

I tried earlier revisions and one frustration for me was it didn't support the Canon RAW (CRW) format from my Canon 10D digital SLR. Well, surprise surprise, I tired it out and it was off indexing my desktop and low and behold I see my RAW files start popping in. WOOT! It also indexed my variou movie clips and makes it easy to have'em all handy and play from in the program. For a free piece of software for Windows platform users, I gotta say, I'm very impressed so far!! My desktop will likely never go outside of Windows, maybe to OSX, 'cause I need Photoshop, Gimp ain't gonna cut it.
