Comcast hires a bunch of angry, vindictive, evil employees who can and will act like an asshole 8 hours a day. But did anyone else read this as some asshole lawyer throws his firm's name around to try and scare people with thinly veiled lawsuit threats and then gets fired for it? He ABSOLUTELY deserved it. Last time some lawyer threatened to sue me, I told him where he can shove his lawsuit and nothing came of it. I should have called up his company and tell them what he was doing. Next time I will.
Hiring departments don't know shit! HR people and managers are idiots! I ran into so many people saying they cannot hire me because I had two 2-year degrees instead of one 4 year degree. A 4 year IT degree is either outdated by the time you graduate or 2 years of general eds followed by my exact education. Then they end up with some idiot they they fire after he screws everything up.
Now you're probably thinking, they should have given me a proficiency or knowledge test. THEY DID! Tek Systems gave me theirs and I beat 80-90% of their worldwide programmers. A grand total of zero hiring departments gave a shit. THAT is why companies are screwing up. They're hiring rich families' kids who could afford a 4 year degree instead of the smartest, best applicant.
Oh boy, they're going to hire at least double the amount of astroturphers now to make up for the negative reviews. (they got caught doing that before).
If you know how photons are generated at the atomic level, it is actually very difficult to get an electrical circuit to turn into a full spectrum of all visible colors that make up white light.

You screw with someone's project, even as a legit security researcher,. and you'll find out that a lot of volunteers in the projects are petty, angry, antisocial morons who do stupid shit like this. Then there's the irrational MS haters who make Apple fanboys look calm by comparison. Then there's the normal, stable, polite programmers like me that stay the hell away from open source because of the afore mentioned assholes.
So they're dropping their company's boat anchor (the lowest quality PCs, laptops, and printers in existence) and expecting it to float? Good luck with that.

I think I see what's wrong here. There's a severe water shortage around Vegas and they're trying to start up high tech companies in the middle of it in new towns. What could possibly go wrong? Talk about a short-sighted pipe dream. You can't just look at property values and taxes and say yep, that's where we should build. The air conditioning costs alone kill server farms. I mean who thought any of this was a good idea?!
