Intel answered a few questions that was posted on Explosive Labs' forum.
Q2: Is Intel considering selling their processors unlocked anytime in the near future?
A2: We are always open to new ideas that make sense. This is something that we continue to look at, but we have no plans to do this any time in the near future. Obviously support costs for folks who push the knobs too far is one concern, remarking of parts by criminal elements is another.
They seem pretty open to the idea of overclocking. Perhaps these "criminal elements" are a big problem?
Fact: A couple of months ago. AOL blocked *telia.com. Thats Swedens biggest ISP/telecom (Swedens AT&T). This resulted in Telia killing of Port 25 for everyone. Then AOL removed the block.
I *really* doubt that that many spams originated from telia. No explanation why AOL blocked *telia.com has been given.
If you and everybody else identified Opera as Opera and not IE, more pages might work better. If i remember correctly, Opera uses the IE User-Agent by default.
Thats something i dont really understand. Yeah, they probably get a few less mails asking why www.asdf.com displays "wierd" in Opera due to crappy coding like in the article. But in the long run, they help making IE more dominant and thus destroying the html-standards.
Didnt find any information about xvid support in this review. I still down own a stationary dvd-player and i think ill wait until theres a product that will include support for xvid.
Even if this product won't sell and the design is as good as they claim, i bet that cases from companies such as Dell, HP/Compaq etc will follow this design.
Not in a criminal case. I guess they can still sue, but thats probably pointless. In countries like Sweden and Norway, you cant sue McDonnalds for 100M$ for spilling hot coffee on yourself:)
You have to break an Norwegean law to risk being put in jail. US laws has no effect outside the US:)
Norway is not america. MPAA (motion picture association of america) has little to say in a country like norway. Atleast in the courts. MPAA lawyers has nothing to do with an appeal. Thats up to norwegean prosecutors.
According to one of Swedens biggest mainstream newspapers, aftonbladet, it was the prosecutor who dropped the charges. Does this affect the right to appeal from the prosecutors side?
I've given up on buying music. Since it's (was) cheaper to order online for me, thats what i used to do. But since you cant return things like CDs, and when buying online you cant confront them in a store, there's no way for me to listen to new "CDs" anymore.
My old cd-player broke down a while back and im to cheap to get it repaired. And why should i? i have a cd burner and a dvd-rom in my computer wich is connected to my soundsystem. These devices are SUPPOSED to be able to play CDs!
So from now on i wont be buying any more CD's since i don't know if they'll play or not.

My dad doesnt speak a word of english so hes forced to use netscape 4.x. I know there are some languages: German, French, Spanish etc. But when will Netscape release nordic versions (swedish, danish etc.)?
These countries might not be that big in size, but they are all strong IT nations.
Would the US gun-laws allow you to blow someones head off if they broke in to your computer?
Ofcourse there are som physical issues here, such as not being able to place a bullet in someones head on the other side of the earth. But what if someone just outside r00ted your box with his laptop. Would it allow you to shoot him through the window?
Free comics.. i have a feeling that all swedish stores will disagree.

And thats how we are already doing it in the rest of the world.
Feel welcome to join us, USA.
Yep, remember some of my presents and where in the house i was when i opened them.
Yeah.
Piracy is *NOT* theft. If it was, it would be called theft/stealing or whatever. It would not be called piracy.
