Learning a foreign language is almost impossible for me (besides english which started to learn at a young age) but I've done just fine with many programming languages. I've tried to learn french but it doesn't stick, not even german even though it's quite similar to swedish in many ways. And you wanted to compare it a language that is fundamentally different, that'd be even harder.
The main reason I'm "switching" from Xbox to Wii is that I couldn't find one single game for the Xbox that I liked so much I kept playing it. I feel that there just isn't any fun in playing games that aren't games, they don't look like games. I'm sure there are good Xbox games it's just that every game have been trying to look like reality, it falls ofcourse short and becomes a lesser reality. But that's not even the point, I want games to be games, colorful and entertaining. Now I'm going for the Zelda and Mario way with Wii which I loved so much to SNES.
The fact that Wii will be cheaper and have a cool and nifty remote (Wii-mote), well that's just bonuses.
What kind of troubleshooting? Troubleshooting can be a pretty much anything from, "I can't seem to find the zoom button" to "Why doesn't this daemon function properly".
Of all the women I know exactly one do their own troubleshooting. And don't say things like, "You're a geek, maybe you know two women, your mom and sister, and the latter does her own troubleshooting".
46% just sounds a lot if it's not very basic troubleshooting. I don't even think 46% of the men is doing his own troubleshooting.
IE doesn't exactly follow those standards and with IE's marketshare it's impossible to just ignore that browser. So, until Firefix and Opera gains much much bigger marketshare or MS makes sure IE follows the same standards we are doomed to implement IE hacks in the webcode.
Pretty interesting read about this at the dilbertblog.
Scott mentions that he'd be telling the truth about possible attacks and that might get people in fear. But in the long run the people will understand the probability of such attacks.
Am I the only one actually wanting the old movies remade with todays standards?
I really like the universe and I espect the fact that SW-fans is fanatic and all but... it comes down to one thing: Entertainment. Right now its just silly, tried looking at IV the other day and I couldnt stand the figthts, it does just not fit in anymore.
I can assure you that Lordi (which is the name of this band) is not death metal.
I'd like to see the Foundation trilogy on the screen.
Haha, I even missed a few words in my parent post.
I strongly disagree with that.

I think he meant of the two major blocks of parties, and that the liberals belongs to the right leaning one.
They might, but does that really make any difference?

I know plenty of users who refuse to learn anything. They just stop me when I'm trying to tell them something useful.

He only stated it was THE MOST beginner friendly assembly language, not that it would actually be beginner friendly.

I think not, but WoT are a great series of books.
Slashdot effect strikes once again.

I immediately thought of 1984 by George Orwell when reading this.
I work at a place where win98 is used, im not kidding! I'm crying...
Hm, I thought it would work the other way around since not as many people would read -1 moderated stories.
No breasts? God damnit!
