Before using any power tools let's take a moment to talk about shop safety. Be sure to read, understand, and follow all the safety rules that come with your power tools. Knowing how to use your power tools properly will greatly reduce the risk of personal injury. And remember, there is no more important rule than to wear these, safety glasses. - Norm Abrams
Just as sick as any other version of Doom or any other FPS? Those games are not for those of use who get motion sick easily. I really wish the FPS trend ended so more no scikening games could come out. Still taking advantage of 3D laptops of course. (ok.. I tried to get back on topic)
Yep, My last couple of Kurta and Calcomp digitizer boards just recently made it to the trash can. Most of the CAD people I supported used them not for copying blueprints but basically had large menus set up they could just clik on. Actually worked quite well, but this is the work of windows and drop downs.
I was a big fan of Novell myself. I agree completely on the eDirectory front. You however forgot the second biggest strength of Novell that would be nice to aquire. Last comparison I saw still showed Novell's file serving speed to be far faster than anyone else. Can we get that too?
I find the African and European swallow to be a ppor refrence. I highly recomend the peregrine falcon as the refrence implementation due to it's higher overall speed.
You remindedme of somethign I will never forget. I used to work in an automotive paint shop. (I was a painters helper and also did all the paint mixing) One of the painters was cleaning his gun out with mineral spirits and spilled it right down the front of his pants. He ran cursing tot he water hose to douse the umm.. afflicted area. The rest of us of course had a great laugh. of course... we were probably giddy from the paint fumes...

We had those things at my last job. I kept it next to my crt. I always new when a call was about to come in cause my screen would flicker. Nothing like being in public and having someone taklign out of your pocket.
They're the Kings of Metal!!! They're trad metal taking to it's (almost hammy) extreme. I enjoy them myself. Kings of Metal is probably the album to pick if you wanna give them a listen. don;t drive while listening to Wheels of Fire.
That's nothing! My wife moved my rack of computers and equipment and my computer desk for me when getting new carpet. She then moved it all back in and reconnected it all when they were done. Sweet.
Maybe I've been lied to, but my understanding is that Nike shoes cost about $2 to manufacture. That includes the slave labor. But fortunatley you can get them on sale for $60.
You brought back a memory. I actually did cut my forehead open when I was younger (caughtt he edge of the bathroom counter when bending over to untie my shoes). There was blood all over the place! It totally freaked me out. So I go to the emergency room. They clean up the wound a bit and check everythign out. Well, all they had to do was put a little butterfly bandage over it. No stitches. I couldn;t believe such a small cut could create so much blood loss! Of course, they bout a big stupid bandage around my head to hold some guaze over the cut for a couple of days. Thsi was of course during the school week. Woulda really been bad if I had been popular I guess...
Fair enough. I'll admit, I ranted. However, while the situation may work for you, it doesn't work for everyone. I don't think people should be frowned upon for chosing to live outside the city (I used to be surrounded by cow pastures.. urban sprawl caught up to me). Many people prefer to not see the skyline form thier house. They want to feel as they have more open space around them when they aren't at work. Unfortunately, the city has already been laid out. The design sucks. Should I be forced to live someplace that provides no retreat for me because of poor city planning? My mental health is a big priority, and for me, that means I don't want to be able to see work from my house. That also means I want to be away from the (to me) gritty feeling of the downtown area. Unfortunately that requires me to drive. Bicycling down 59 would be a really bad idea. The park and ride is a damn joke. So I drive a car in rush hour traffic (when I hd a job working days.. dynamic energy my ass). Does that mean my priorities are screwed up? Or that the city in geenral is unable to meet the priorities of its citizens? Blame the city, I'll go with you on that.. but don't attack peoples priorities.
And no.. even when the bicyclist is in my lane and forces me to pass in the oncomming lane, I don't honk. I just bitch to myself. Bicycles can be a hazard for us drivers. Bicycles and cars don't mx ont he same road. I don't want a bicyclist falling off in front of my car and gettign injured. I don't wanna slam into a bicyclist as I'm making a turn because the street lights have no meaning to them. Dealing with other cars is hard enough, dealing with the bicycles is just that much more. Then there is the added distraction of the the ladies in the tight bicycle shorts. How the hell do they expect me to pay attention to the road?!?!

There is a Knoppix based MythTV bootable distro. Check out the list archives.
Please.. the real "hardcore" test is Leisure Suit Larry.

The first thing I noticed was that you'd have to post anonymously if you admit to watching Friends.
Nah.. they would just pay $8 to endure it. Well.. make that more like $20 if you buy a small soda.
I will never forget the sign my dad kept in his cubicle at work. "Progress is made by lazy men looking for an easier way to do things". How true.
This is an advanced version of the marketing the guy on the conroer downtown uses. He calls it "the first one is always free".
Damn.. you have me there! I gotta clean the coke of my monitor now...
Can you be an Enron without billions in the bank? haha I type this sitting next to a former Enron employee and as a former rivals employee.

I reccomend the Panasonic Xtreme 2.4Ghz phones. They kill WiFi connections with extreme prejudice.

It actually did. She labelled every cable except the power cables. Even got my dual monitor setup and kvm setup right.

I think you mean 23 (telnet) not 25 (smtp).
Friends??? You're going to the effort of stealing to download Friends! If your gonna commit a crime.. it ought to be one worth commiting!

Now.. can we agree on the need for some rain?
You must also be in Houston. Between the DNA testing and the K-Mart bust... I can;t say I really have much confidence in the Housotn Police Dept.
