Wireless 802.11 is a really bad joke when you have tens of machines and tens of access points. Wireless is also a total joke speed-wise when you try to transfer large files between two wireless machines.
In a business, or a corporate environment, wired is the way to go with a few access points for the whiny upper-managements types and their laptops/notebooks/netbooks.
