Why does Sun's flagship operating system, from a company where a motto is "The Network Is The Computer", defaults to "Not Networked" during install? Hmmm???
I have a widescreen TV and my cable company gives me 18+ HDTV channels. I hardly watch the regular, or even allegedly 'digital' channels anymore. TiVo doesn't fit into the picture here. They should have started doing HDTV PVR's. To quote a very wise cartoon character, the Scientifc Atlanta boxes still suck a**.
When I was taking pictures of office buildings in downtown Toronto last year, the security guards where chasing us away from every single one. Pretty soon you won't be able to open your eyes without paying someone for looking at their cr*p.
BTW, you owe me 10,000 pesos for reading this post.
You should always buy as little as possible from the original vendor. When we purchased a few IBM x335 servers awhile back, the cost of memory from Kingston was less than half of what IBM wanted. Even the 15K RPM SCSI drives where far less from a local shoppe.
Let us put the analogy in this way:
You have a kid. The kid is mentally challenged. Someone says out loud that the kid is retarded. Of course you are going to say the kid isn't retarded.
Duh.
What is to stop some artiste from Photoshopping them thar images, eh?
