The game is pretty shortlived as a single player campaign, multiplayer is where it shines. Splitscreen is pretty good but online with random people is awesome.
I agree, if I wanted to flap my arms around like a wounded turkey I'd buy a Wii. It's nice to have this as an optional extra for certain games, but you'll take my gamepad over my rotten corpse.
I personally don't give a shit what people believe in, I have no agenda against religious people. But who are you to decide what is religion and what is not?
I bought a 360 because of the excellent live service; people are far less likely to glitch, grief and hack if there's money on the line. The good and bad people you flag also propagates to all games you play, meet someone cool on TF2 and play gears with them etc. Meet a griefer and avoid them for all games.
What's your beef, that Microsoft's OS doesn't stand up under light of day? All of the listed items are facts which contradict MS' PR spin:
- Windows 7 is secure says Microsoft. That's what they told us about Vista, but still makes the same fundamental mistakes. - Windows 7 is fast and suitable for netbooks says Microsoft. No it's not. - Windows 7 will allow you to virtualize your legacy apps. If your lucky.
This is a news website and facts that contradicts MS' FUD or spin is news to me. If you don't like it don't come here.
I commute 8000KM per year in Sydney, spent $2000 on an appropriate commuting bike. In the 16000KM I've had my current bike I haven't changed the chain or cluster because I keep them well lubed, even if they were sloppy it wouldn't matter. I expect to get lifetime from the steel frame.
I think you should change to a different bike shop, preferably one that sells Surly.
Open standard means that if I were willing to cough for fabrication, I could do a run of Sparc without worrying about ISA IP. Can you do that PPC or AMD64?
Wallace and Gromit.
I shudder to think how much money I've spent on Galaga over the years...
I still play L4D for at least 3-4 hours a week, it's a better way to meet people online than Uno.

I don't know what you're talking about, I've got Loki games from 2000/01 which work perfectly on my current system.

I agree, now when are the other organized religions going to be outlawed?
Your subconscious is now so desensitized to gore and violence that it is filtering it out from your perception. You are now warped.
the entire QA process that any competent business would undertake.
What, like the one outlined in the story? Shipping a busted installer doesn't sound too competent to me...
That's business; deliver or GTFO, don't expect favours from paying customers.
I don't believe Vista is new coke, it is a product of Microsoft's hubris.
L4D is more akin to Gauntlet than a survival/horror zombie shooter, zombies are a good scenario but there is plenty of gaming abstraction.

360 also has a hard drive, for updates.
Bioshock is an arcade shooter with a touch more depth than most. There are plenty of RPG games servicing what you describe.

Fast CPU doesn't mean fast system.
My bike has 9-speed cassette too, riding through Sydney rain, crud and traffic. I make a point of keeping it all clean and adjusted.

I recently bought an xbox to play L4D and was pleasantly suprised by the integrated music player, also the divx stuff. They don't really promote it.
Theo also fixes bugs.

Aside from the fucked quality control, xbox is a pretty good product.
I've bought every id game because they port to Linux. They've made a few bucks off me, times that by a few others and perhaps it's worthwhile.
Aside from being an awesome arch, Sparc is an open standard.
