This was written by Marc Thiessen, the guy who was charged with justifying torture for W. He then went on and wrote a book about how torture is good. Jon Stewart dismantled this guy a few months ago when he was a guest on the Daily Show. Do not confuse what this guy writes with what the WaPo believes (of course the paper believes more and more along these lines in recent years).
Do people really expect this to take off any time soon? Do you realize the infrastructure that's going to be needed to be deployed regionally to make this work? In it's current state is nearly maxes out a basic cable connection. I just don't foresee it becoming standard any time soon.
With the advent of Blackberries, etc more time outside of work hours is given up to work. Therefore during work hours that missing personal time is being made up because there is no other time to do it. I'm not sure why employer's don't get this. You can't magically add more hours to someone's workday
Fios TV has a more complete channel line up for less money. Plus, you get channels as part of the basic package that you either have to pay for on Comcast (ie NFL Network) or just plain don't get. Now if my apartment complex would just get Verizon in here to install equipment I'd be a very happy person.
I don't think you seem to be watching the same thing the rest of us have. KZ2 is on par with GoW. Halo 3 has seen a graphics bump since beta. And FYI, gameplay makes or breaks a game, not graphics.
Does the article mention that Verizon cripples the hell out of their phones? For example, the girlfriend and I both have Razr phones. I'm on T-Mobile, she is on Verizon. I can bluetooth images, sounds, etc on and off my phone. Her phone doesn't support file transfers because Verizon wants to you pay them $$ to do this through their services.
The AI changes with the difficulty level. The higher the level the more the enemies work together against you. It's actually really cool (although it sucks being on the recieving end). Zonk needs a fact checker.
The number of defective 360s was grossly over-reported. Even slashdot had articles on that subject. The PS2 also had major hardware issues at release and with all of the brand spanking new and untested technology in the PS3 you think this will be any different? I've had my 360 since day 1 with no problems and I know at least 5 friends haven't had issues with theirs either. With the "staggering number of defective 360s" you'd imagine at least one of us would have had a bad one.
MS may not have landed much in the way of new IP but they broke down some old barriers. You saw your first Final Fantasy on Xbox finally (though much later, however it still happened). You'll be seeing GTA4 out day 1 for 360 with downloadable content exclusive to the 360. There are some very nice titles coming out that will be only on PC or 360 like Gears of War, Huxley, etc.
Sony's online service may be "free" but there is little to no details as to what to expect from it.

We keep hearing it, but there's no real proof.
Unless you just take Sony's word for it. But their word is about as reliable as Dick Cheney's

Yeah, as someone in their late 20s in the workplace, I have no idea what this "pension" word is.
You could replace Dell with Comcast and the complaints would be exactly the same.
The money they make I'm sure is shared with the site owner. That would only be fair since they are banking off that person's site.
Of course when has netsol every been fair?
Isn't this the product Gates and Co made when he was still a teenager and when the city finally met him they decided not to use the product?
My history might be fuzzy on this but it's a funny story.
So far there haven't been any rumblings like this from Verizon. Hopefully it stays that way. Thankfully fios equipment will be in here soon.
I guess I can't use that directive in apache anymore.
I'd love to get a look at this guy's campaign contribution list.

Another glowing testimony for the greatness that is DRM.
Why is that so hard to believe? It must be a conspiracy.
If that's the line they used to get exclusive deals with studios they're gonna have some 'splaining to do.
I think the videos have tags on them. It could have been a simple search.
Actually there is prior art on chair launching. Seems a fellow named Bob Knight did it first.
This is true. I've heard somewhere around 1)% of your bill goes straight to ESPN.

Hmm, that's a familiar poster. :sex:
;)
People still play T1?

I agree 100%, but of course I'm biased.
