I ran a two node TriBBS board ( 1 14.4K line, and 1 2400 line). I was on FIDOnet, and used to really make my FIDOnet uplink mad, because I would download my mail using my 2400 baud modem, so that my 14.4K would stay up for logging on. I had so many door games. I usually set one up once a week. The only people who knew about it were the people in my high school, but it was a lot of fun!

I think they are working on a way to exploit the lossy compression of mp3 to make music extremely less enjoyable to the person listening to the MP3 version, while a perfect digital copy (such as recording them in an ISO format, or using a CD Burner (Non PC version). I think that the next version of CD Ripping software should read the bits from the CD, and then use a non-lossy compression to compress it down. Kinda like making an ISO image, and then using ZIP on it...

Then you have never been behind a redneck or an old lady who can't figure out a POS terminal. The cashier has to go to the other side of the register, swipe the card for the person, and then tell them to punch in their PIN, then has to wait for authorization, and then hits the yes (confirm/accept/etc.). Then go back to their side of the register, and hand the person their reciept.

How will Intel sell chips if clockless computing is ever successful? They won't be able to double the length of their pipe to "speed up" their chips. I guess we will have to finally develop some fair metric to finally be able to compare chips between product lines....

I guess it is better to run around knocking everyone you can up, while ditching child support, and hanging out in clubs, keeping a dead-end job that barely pays the bills. All this time these type of people blame all of their problems on the rich, and corporate america. As I said fscking moron!!!
