Hilarious! It's very clear that this company is going down the tubes.
Why would I want to work for a company whose president is not capable of rubbing two nickels together? If I am as good and as marketable as this president wishes me to be, why would I settle for 45k-60k?
Essentially this guy puts out a req. stating, "you need to be and outstanding engineer, work extraordinary hours for a paltry salary, all for....." what? The joy of fixing a bug? What's the incentive? Where is the growth path?
If he thinks that this kind of req. is going to entice "the right candidate", he needs to get his act together.
I think that signalogic would be better served with the following job posting:
Employment:
Human Resources Executive:
Must have minimum 5 years experience working human resources with excellent communication skills. Must be able to create effective job postings.
I only wish it were, and I only wish the RIAA were to actually delete a file on my computer. That would place them in such an actionable position that I would probably have to beat back lawyers from my door with a broomstick.
I am not a lawyer, but I would venture to guess that an act such as the RIAA using an application to delete files from my computer to violate several laws, at least in my state:
unauthorized electronic trespass into a computer system
criminal destruction of private electronic data
et. al.
I'm sure that there are a few federal laws violated as well.
I would love to see it happen. I wouldn't mind retiring early, living off a fat MPAA/RIAA paycheck.
I'll be watching it, if for nothing else than to see the ending. It's rumored that almost 1/3rd of the budget for the two sequels (~$60 million, IIRC) was spent on the last 20 minutes of the movie.
"... Sony will also be named in the lawsuit because GTA was exclusive to their console."
GTA 3 is also available on the PC. Why not sue Microsoft, creators of Windows and DirectX, for allowing the game to be played on the OS? While they're at it, sue Intel, NVidia, Corsair, Asus, Hitachi (cause there's got to be a Hitachi chip in that computer somewhere), Kensington, SonicView, Plextor and Lian-li?
After all, those bastards should have to pay for what they did. They need to be more responsible? Don't these companies know they are raising these children??
I know that if I ever have kids and get a divorce, I'm gonna sue Microsoft and Toyota for alimony!
Do you really want the WHOLE WORLD to visit your web site?
Your bandwidth bill will be extraordinary, and you will get some perverts looking at your baby with alternative thoughts....
Actually, I just visited your site. Nix that last remark. That baby's do damn ugly that even the most depraved of sick-o's would have only one thing on their mind: nausea. And that family! Fugly fugly fugly! I need image filtering software to prevent me from viewing it!
...Oh, and you'll also get a lot of people who will flame you, too.
I'm going to find one in Boston and setup a cache.
I'll help ya. There's one on I-95 Northbound by slummaville. Just walk out onto the passing lane and see for yourself!
Oh, this tile was done in glow-in-the dark paint, so you are better off looking at it at night.
Also, it's against the law to be walking on a highway, so you might want to wear something dark so that the state troopers don't catch you snooping around on the highway.
Bill Gates was later asked to comment on the outcome of the lawsuit.
When prompted, Mr. Gates stated, "This is truly an unfortunate turn of events. We are saddened by the verdict, and it will take quite some time before we can recouperate our losses."
Mr. Gates then ripped a juicy fart, and followed up by stating, "Ahh. I just earned another $25 million."
Could the next must-have computer input device be a morse key
Absolutely!
Then, I will create a filter to change my display to filter out all color and convert it to shades of CRT green! ~tres cool~
I've already replaced my CD-ROM drive with the tape drive from my VIC-20.
Hopefully someone can create a motherboard mod to replace my CPU with a programmable plug board so I can experience the fun of having to physically configure the computer for computational tasks.
Oh the joy of it all!!!
... I only wish I could moderate the submissions as , "-1, F*cking Idiot"
I'll share the goddamn road when bicyclists have to pay registration, excise tax, insurance, put a license plate on their bicycles and have to obey every traffic law without exception.
Likening French xenophobia to American xenophobia is analagous to saying German public transportation is just like American public transportation. The reality is one is much more pervasive and widely used than the other.
The French look everyone else in the world as their inferior. They look at the French Canadians as their inferior. The Parisians look at the French as inferior.
A more appropriate phrase would be "culturally abandonded".
The French-allying portion of Quebec is much like the Spanish speaking portions of Central America: They aschew their curtural ties to the US in attempt to identify themselves with (South American/European) counterparts. However, they simply end up becoming cultural bastards, belonging to neither.
Other Canadians look at the 'French Canadians' as not really Canadians, and the French' look at the 'French Canadians' as not French.

Ditto!
The question is - will the drive perform despite having only 2mb of cache, and running at 5400 rpm?
Of course it will perform, much like the uber-geek purchasing it: fat and sloth-like, with a really small wang.
Now if only they had hard drive ginseng...
(of course this is a flame/trolling!)

And I thought it was some kind of high-tech way of applying for a mortgage.
Do you mean this one?

JAVA Principles of Object Oriented Programming, or
JAVA POOP is a pretty good book. It has the additional bonus of having a funny title.
