    Libertarianism implies than private citizen can do charity if they want, and it's not the role of the government to be a gigantic (and inefficient) charity. Taxes will be lower, you would end up with more money for yourself, which you can use as you wish: buy much stuff for yourself, give it to charity, organize your own private fund to save poor banks... whatever..

    BTRFS file systems can be used in Linux and offers compression. It will be the default FS in Fedora 17.

    Life expectation will actually decline in the next few decades because we reaching peak everything and approaching the earth carrying capacity. So yes, some people may be able to life up to 150 years old, but most will live shorter lives.

    The reason UEFI will replace BIOS is that it's a standard and not every vendors will have their own BIOS implementations. It also provide support for fast boot and large disks (> 2.2 TB).

    I don't see why they would need fast release. It worked just fine the way they proceeded before. Chrome is doing faster releases, but why should Firefox care ? Firefox is where it's at because of plugins, and after each update I lose some plugins for some days and some forever. If Firefox wants to do fast release to close security holes and/or fix bugs fine, but those types of release should in no way change the API and break support for existing plugins.
