    but with outages varying from monthly to daily and peaks of hourly !



    even though i agree with the rest of your statement, I only had 2 outages in the 2 years ive used telenet internet.
    I live in a neighbourhood were the connection is good though. In the morning 500 - 650 KB/sec is rather rule then exception, could be that in other places the connections are worse

    And spending $264 in the morning on fees that are internet related is a pile of - pardon my french - bullcrap.
    Those sort of fees would make sure the average consumer wouldnt buy computers anymore... Who will MS sell it's licences to then? I doubt someone stupid enough to pay $264 to read the news he could buy for $1 on hardcopy and some spam would be a good target market. Someone that stupid prolly can't keep a decent job and therefore prolly hasn't got any money

    too true... I don't care wheter itsn't 'true RPG' or wheter RTS is dying or whatever reason people are making up to justify warezing, I'll gladly pay for it, just like I'll gladly pay to see a good movie or go to a nice party...

    Lords of the realm 2 deserved a mentioning too though, it was a rather shabby game, but the sieges were absolutely innovating at that moment
