but with outages varying from monthly to daily and peaks of hourly !
even though i agree with the rest of your statement, I only had 2 outages in the 2 years ive used telenet internet. I live in a neighbourhood were the connection is good though. In the morning 500 - 650 KB/sec is rather rule then exception, could be that in other places the connections are worse
I once had a discussion about this with a friend... He claimed it was possible for the US to enforce it's laws on it's allies in certain situations? Does anybody knows more about this?
Big deal... I pay the man in the newspaper kiosk, why shouldnt i pay cnn.com then?
And spending $264 in the morning on fees that are internet related is a pile of - pardon my french - bullcrap. Those sort of fees would make sure the average consumer wouldnt buy computers anymore... Who will MS sell it's licences to then? I doubt someone stupid enough to pay $264 to read the news he could buy for $1 on hardcopy and some spam would be a good target market. Someone that stupid prolly can't keep a decent job and therefore prolly hasn't got any money
I'm happy to pay them $50 for hours and hours of mindless-computer-fun, and I understand them wanting to keep the online play within their control.
too true... I don't care wheter itsn't 'true RPG' or wheter RTS is dying or whatever reason people are making up to justify warezing, I'll gladly pay for it, just like I'll gladly pay to see a good movie or go to a nice party...
i may have missed something in the article, but when does a substance qualifies to be a 'plasma'? It sure looks nifty but that can't be a criterium, right?
should have read other users coments first, its been brought up before...
Lords of the realm 2 deserved a mentioning too though, it was a rather shabby game, but the sieges were absolutely innovating at that moment

How about little golden statuettes of CowboyNeal?

if they'd be made at the same scale of a regular oscar, they'd contain at least double as much gold

In the post for this article, the author writes like an enthused teenager, not like a professional.
plz point me to a certain 'rule' which requires people posting articles to use 'professional' terms

uhh... Why 'd you wanna use a PIV as a gateway? Aren't gateways the reason why god made the PI?

Indeed... Dungeon Keeper 1 was really good, and the add-on added some very tough and rewarding missions.
where are the sim games? they dont involve warfare but its about strategy in those too (well, at least in good old SimCity it was)
hehe, that one was funny :-)
