    What you described points to a good reason why I am turned off of online games particularly MUD -if I want to learn a scripting language -I'll do so for real; not in the context of some crappy [imho] text-based star trek MUD.

    They could all agree that the moon is made of green cheese, but if the trail is regarding what caused the cow to jump over the moon, it is not a verdict.

    None of this "soft touch" that people getting sued had enjoyed under the Demo.

    I've tried Thunderbird (and mad dog 40/40 har har) 0.1 combined with firebird 0.6 and the first problem that I came across was enough of a show-stopper to make me switch back to the traditonal suite.

    That being the inability to right-click on a web page and have the "send page" menu option.

    I have a low-end system, but I'll make a point of finding resources to get this kind of functionality.

    Splitting the two programs up seems like a step backwards, in my opinion.

    I'm orginally from the pacific northwest [seattle], and I recently moved to Arizona from Anchorage...and the biggest shock [aside from the heat] is the ABSOLUTE LACK of ANY kind of micro-brew here. I don't know how things are in Phoenix, but here in the outlying area, it's michelob, budweiser or other assorted shit [and I do mean shit]

    Makes me glad I went sober aproximately a year before I came down here...otherewise I'd be absolutely devestated.

    OTOH, I haven't seen anywher in Ak or Wa where you could buy a case [and then some--30 beers per unix] for $11. :-D

    I'm not sure that it counts as the same idea, but lately [during the last couple of months] trolls have started pasting linked articles ["in case of slashdotting"], and adding an not-esp-subtle homosexual reference in the bottom of the last paragraph.

    IMHO, if they're going to go full out that way, they should take the 30 seconds and insert an bogus and inflammatory statement in the middle of the article before posting it.
