Maybe you missed the memo, but creationism and evolutionism are not necessarily mutually exclusive. There do exist Christians/Jews/Muslims/etc who believe a mix of both.
The most interesting part of history between Ishmael and Issac is in the Jew's bible. Both of the brothers have feuded since they knew each other.. But once Abraham died, they met back together, realising that their petty war of who was "the one" was meaningless.
Hmm, if only the radical fundamentalists of the jews/christians/muslims would read this...but of course, the rest of the believers won't try and help them out...
I'll be leaving my first year soon as well, and I picked up a pretty cheap locking file cabinet. I figure if I lock my room door and put valuables in the cabinet, I'll be OK.
Maybe you haven't seen an Xbox, or are missing Sony's near-monthly announcements about their upcoming hardware, but consoles are going to be doing more than just play games in the future. MP3, video-on-demand, that kind of thing.
If a person buys a shirt/CD/thing at the flea market that happens to be counterfeit or unlicensed, the companies that own the copyright usually won't go after them, but after the seller or distributor, right? Why is it so different now? I've wondered whether a legal defense of "this was available for download, I didn't know it was infringing to get it" would work... Probably not, but it's an interesting thought.
Yeah yeah ICANN was all like "Yo Veri, take care of my peeps fo a while" and Veri was like "OK holmes", but then veri was like "dag yo, i gots mad power" and ICANN came back and was all up in his face like "OH NO YOU DI-ENT!"
-Alice releases her hit song "Foo" -Two years later, Bob releases his hit song "Bar" -"Bar" is a song, and so is "Foo" -Alice sues Bob -Alice claims "Bar doesn't exist"
Not for any ideological reason, but simply because RMS doesn't like C++.
If not liking something is not ideological, I don't know what is.
Think about 20 years into the future, and we might see this kind of speed in our living rooms, especially with super-hi-def video and audio.
Maybe I should be clearer. I consider myself part of a modern Lutheran sect...so, uh... i need to stop posting when i'm really tired.
Thanks for clearing that up. Now I can be sure that all creationists I know are closed-minded, backwards heathens that are incapable of change.
That's interesting, I'm an "original protestant" (lutheran) and yet I believe in evolution, so...heh.

There are already some of these types around the web

First, we need hard drives and system buses that can get the data moving at this speed.

et every time I went to watch a LOTR movie, even in the evening, there were parents doing this very thing.
I was more perplexed by the parents who brought thier 8-year-old to The Passion.
Consider the following:
-Alice releases her hit song "Foo"
-Two years later, Bob releases his hit song "Bar"
-"Bar" is a song, and so is "Foo"
-Alice sues Bob
-Alice claims "Bar doesn't exist"
huh?
At that screen size, the immersiveness will be spectacular.
Wow, what a great idea!
Except for the fact that Wikipedia is supposed to be an encyclopedia, not a tech support forum...

I guess I have it easy...my Dad's extremely technophobic, but he runs software update on his mac like every week.
My brother using my PC box, on the other hand....
I thought that was an American tradition.
fixes several bugs...introduces a few new features
It's OK guys, bugs happen.
Why is there no topic? Oh yeah, it's transparent.
