You can quote case law all you want, but the fact is most people sue in instances like this to try and get rich, or cover their own financial losses for being stupid (or allowing their kids to be stupid). Lawyers support such lawsuits only because they can line their own pockets.

Couldn't a reason for all these lawsuits also be the high costs of medical care. West Europe is compareable with USA in wealth and in most countries there is the healthcare very cheap, hence no need for a lawsuit. Maybe it's just me but I've never heard of a lawsuit like that in Europe...

You're missing that an over-qualified person typicaly would start looking for a better position quicker than a person who's 'just' qualified. Hireing someone costs money, you need to teach the person how your company works and therefor you want to keep your employers for a long time.

What's your source for this info? To me it seems like you're using CIA as source and that renders your 'facts' pretty worthless. CIA is working for it's survival and for a president who wants a war. Of course they'll claim Saddam is the great satan and that it's totaly worth killing 10s of thousands Iraqie citizens to kill him. Do you trust all marketing companies?

It's very important to remember that Bush sr, Clinton and Bush jr all have wanted war against Iraq, and they've all been against inspections. Amongst the things you 'forget' to mention is that CIA infiltrated UNSEC and used it to both collect info for the -98 desert fox attack and for trying to get an uprising -96. It's not like that has been helping UNSEC and later UNMOVIC. I'd suggest you read the book War Plan Iraq It takes up most of what you mention but from another point of view, a view that never gets through in normal media.

For use of certain services, we may provide you with a pass code. This pass code is proprietary to and the property of American Airlines. However, you must take precautions to insure the security of your pass code. American Airlines assumes no responsibility for and will not be liable in the event that another person learns your pass code or uses your pass code to cause damage to you.

This feels like a typcial thing they'd want to hide. As I understand it:
    1. AA owns the passcode
    2. You are responsable for it's security
    3. If someone hacks the AA db and uses the stolen passcode from there to book flights in your name AA takes no responsability.

So basicly what one would want to do is make sure that the security guys are good there or it's your ass that gets burned?
