I never thought of it that way ( the degradation in morals) but I think you are absolutely correct. Before I had my son, 10 to 1, I'd be one of those guys berating those "selfish parents". But now that I have him, I'd literally do anything in my power to keep him safe.
I'm right there with you. I had DirecTV in my last house because it wasn't serviced by our local cable company (Time Warner). I moved into a house I rented, that was in a cable area and the landlord wasn't so keen on drilling a dish on the house so I regretfully terminated my service.
Fast forward a couple of years, I own my house and find myself increasing displeased with Time Warner and looking seriously at going back to DirecTV.
They aren't trying to catch illegals as they are leaving. They already fingerprint incoming travelers but have no mechanism to see who actually leaves the country. By capturing incoming and outgoing immigration information...they can see who is still in the country, and go after them.
I found Tony Stark to be one of (if not the most) developed and interesting characters in any comic movie yet.
I think the main reason Iron Man was so successful was the interesting characters. I mean, if you think about it, the actual suit really wasn't in the movie that much.
Who is to say that the next WinMo store won't send goblins in the night to steal your baby?
Lets try to judge the current situation by the current criteria set shall we? Hypothesizing on the future is fine as long as it has some basis. (I know, I know...here comes the party line of Embrace, Extend, Extinguish...)
I'm frankly shocked that the person responsible for bomis.com would stoop to this level! In all seriousness, I don't think Jimmy would be a demi-god if he hadn't surrounded himself by weak-willed yet highly creative staff at Nupedia. I of course base this opinion solely on reading done at my favorite site, http://www.wikipedia.com/
The install page doesn't mention anything about having to register for some reason. I think I'll go ahead and pass on that until after the subpoenas come through.
There was an NES aftermarket item that could clip to the controller and had a screw in nub thing so you could control the D-Pad thumbstick style. It was actually quite handy as well as dulling the hard rigid edges of the original NES controller.
I've probably bought half a billion dollars worth of Minecraft shirts and toys and junk for my child myself.

And you don't need Apple's (or anyone's) permission to play it.
Um, I dont' think so. Without congress who would revamp the current College BCS system or investigate steroids in baseball?

This article just halted that.
If it was Windows 7, they'd still be in the air...
It is preferable they do barrel rolls on a flight simulator than a real A320 I might be flying on.
*Come on, I know I'm not the only one who tried that on the old MS simulator
Yeah, but in Soviet Russia, retarded jokes make Slashdot over and over again!
Not surprising. I have stacks of those multi-colored Dell Vista DVDs that came with all those computers I have purchased with XP downgrades.
I suppose those count as "sales" even though they will never see the light of day.
And Budweiser Classic!

Why is this insightful?

And they have been printing money ever since.
You must not work for an executive. As an IT wageslave, I find it very easy to tell the average user what they have to do...not so much for the VPs.
I don't know, my MacBook certainly gets close. At least it feels like it on my lap.
Yeah, because jail is fun.
It only cost like $140 American dollars.
Okay Mulder...keep looking for that moon-landing set.
I guess what we really need is Mr. Fusion.

I've unknowingly been part of this boycott for 10 years.
