    of course they matter they would be the only way to find out that the best way to have an up to date (from the first install) Mandriva system is to use the boot.iso and grab from a devel branch of a mirror. Note kiddies devel !=cooker

    okay lets try this "Linux(r)" is the kernel image and assosiated /lib/modules files (aka what you get when you run make bZImage && make modules on the archive from kernel.org) GNU is just about everything above this point so you could say the gnus do the work but the penguin gets them going (until hurd gets to a useful point)

    interesting idea hows about we make them more or less the same size and put some sort of beacons on them (light and or Radio based?) a couple solar panels and maybe some cameras and this might work.
    What would be the correct size for a Polar Bear "Party Barge"? (just remember when you do your math polar bears get very heavy (An average adult male weighs 500 to 600 kg (1100 to 1300 lbs))
    as far as Shipping is concerned if we make these things more or less stationary and have beacons on them its Same Sea Different Day time.

    Speaking as a person that used to work for a "smoothie stand" any person that does not have a setup that includes "hot spares" is
    1 a moron
    2 will have his ticket pulled on the next health inspection
    3 needs to get sued into personal bankrupcty
    In this type of business if you have x flavors then you maintain X+(X/3) mixer bowls just so
    1 if you drop one you have a spare
    2 custom mixes can be done
    3 you can sell to someone that has an allergy to oh say the honey water you use in your smoothies

    What ferengie rule of aquistion covers "the dead do not buy" or "don't limit your market without good reason"?

    the big thing about Mandriva is 1 A do the club signup or B have fun with the bugs 2 monitor the Cooker list the X.org thing is an upstream bug kat is not house trained yet and all this was covered on the Cooker list (oh btw Silver member using same account name and the google mail servers)

    I would say that this part of the service (known as Power Vision) is what would sell the service to the LuserBase but who "in this room" would pay the money to be able to do (@dsl type speeds) a login to their computers and do oh anything that doesn't require dealing with hardware. Imagine actually being able to be an ELDER (server) GEEK and have a life!

    just to add to the My repos are Bigger than your Repos argument i have a folder on my system that is a merge of 1 the powerpack dvd 2 a mirror of the i586 branch 3 a matched set of PLF rpms This folder is just North of 13 gigabytes (debian is 2 dvds??) and the Boot.iso trick is Grandma simple to use 0 make sure your connection is live 1 boot from the iso (after you burn it to a MiniCD) 2 hit enter to start the install 3 select network >http/ftp install 4 select mirror from list 5 begin normal install

    It's not correct, however, to assume that all MIDI music is General MIDI, of course. ---- yes some of it is corporal midi .priviate midi sargent midi and of course there is the (for example anything by the Backstreet Boys) transfered to Fort Levenworth DB Midi. Did you know that DeCSS is availible in a midi form??
