    A few suggestions 1 have some sort of switch that dumps a complete config file to ~ (this is an all options with defaults type file) 2 set things so the most common run is shortest 3 assume the files to process are in the current directory (and are wanted in the current directory 4 actually write useful documentation

    Now, ask yourself, what would the culture be like right now if whenever you wanted to take some vacation photos, you need to get permission? Jeez, Kodak would have been just like Napster, just aiding people trying to steal other people's value. --------- You are aware that in some locations (example stores) they have the right (requirement) to take your camera/film due to IP questions. So yes you can do all the photos you want but not inside/next to a store.

    besides if the car was designed with an upward/ multiple failpoints in the tank (ie the tank cracks on the top in about a half dozen places) what we would have is gas venting away from the area (the H blew because it contained the gas) safer than petrol maybe??

    one thing that bugs me is how slow getting a group of extensions pulled down. Somebody could/should create a link farm for the raw xpi files (so you could r-c and pull a bunch of extensions at once)

    one thing you can do is dig far enough to find out that Dell will sell you (from the nseries line) a very nice computer with RHE I figure if enough folks buy these Dell will notice very quickly (and of course RHE is PHB friendly). HP of course has a large Linux area on their website and they also have systems preloaded with Mandrake 9.2 Old Adage "follow the money!"

    okay try this imagine a world where you were REQUIRED to pay for MegaSaudi gas for your new car when it may be the only time you use M$ gas (even if you handwave things by getting an OEM copy its US$100 for a legit copy of XP home) so you pay $30-$40 as part of your new car for gas you will most likely just pump out and reload with Brother Samson Dobbs or Lucky Travels this is what Microsoft is getting hammered for

    The thing that i would like to see is a set of packages that would set the system up for a new user/winodws convert LM 10.0 comes close (autorun for dvds! and auto mounting for media) but No "network places" and some stuff gets way too hidden (MCC is three clicks deep!)

    and wouldn't this be worked around by using the xp bootloader as primary and chaining grub?? Besides in this day and age what geek wouldn't be able to 1 find a small computer shop that sells legit OEM copies of XP 2 be able to slipstream XP2 and add the needed drivers 3 create a custom "restore cd" for there machine with their settings

    easy if you want to get the file and 1 you need to do the download prior to an OS reload 2 you want to make sure that WinThings don't scramble your download 3 your non windows machine is the one with the bandwidth 4 you are going to help a WinFriend out 5 You are a non windows geek

    easy one somewhere in the code will be a set of "red flags" and "information" will be discounted accordingly a sample 1 information against $entity by $hostile (ie linux information from Microsoft) 2 sourced from known bad sources (sites known to play jokes like the onion) 3 trigger date related (any site published/updated 2903 -0204) sort of like the moderation thing here

    or look at it this way if the service is rated at 2mbs with a minimum of 0.5mbs @95% uptime for home and 2mbs with a minimum of 1.2mbs @97% uptime for biz i would pay more + what about servers and ect if they want to ring you for more $$ then ring them for better paper (with fines for violations)

    2) Zero-footprint applications: I would love to see FF and TB be ...in a single directory (Windows side, at least). ...on my USB memory key and surf the net and do my e-mail without leaving a trail. || ---- done already grab the zipfile version and make a batch file with the line start firefox.exe -Profile "profile/" and after you make the profile subfolder run the batch file and ...     As far as I know, ActiveX ~= XPInstall, and BHOs ~= extensions. And yes, Mozilla extensions can deploy binary components, ------------ 1 in the base install you can see every extension installed (and worst case they would be in only 2 places) 2 current firefox/thunderbird forces you to click an install button (possibly next Moz will do this) 3 because Moz is not "part of the OS" you can rip it out and reload from zero
