They tried something similar with the transition from 6 - 7: "2001 Foam padding is dropped because the benefits don't justify the cost. The company gives top-loading another try."
I love the innovation but personally my postman always seemed to find that ONE weakness in em. I was at an apartment complex with those little metal boxes. I swear the postman would fold them every time and I'd still get a envelope of broken pieces. Happened more times than I'd like to recall.
How ironic, I just so happen to find this site today! Why go for this when Lasik is an easy to do at home project? Check it out here. I guess after you sear your eyeball as in step 3, you can replace it with one of those cameras.
Maby you cant fit it in 1u, but Tyan makes the K8QW that supports 8 Opterons with the M4881 add on processor board. Meaning you got 16 cores of pure powa. Go ahead, compile the internet. I'd be interested in knowing if there was anything higher than that.
eh only I thought in Speed 2 they were driving a cruise liner not a car, so yeah youd be ALL out of wack. "Engine room full reverse now, we are approaching the on ramp!"
Oh dont forget 3% SBD (silent but deadly). But maby thats just the smile I make when that happens to me. *must think unfunny thoughts... must not laugh*
Okay sorry to reply to myself I found the physical measurements in case people were interested in this WidowPC Sting 917: Dimensions: 15.6"(W) x 11.7"(D) x 1.95"(H)
Okay it took me a while to figure out he was talking about World of Warcraft when he said Warcrack. I thought at first it was some game I was missing. Its a funny tagline, but call me an ass, can we be a little more professional about when we have reviews? That aside, I also dont see any physical measurements. How does this compare to the absolutly monstrous Alienware Area-51 series and Aurora m7700. Both of those are HUGE measuring about W)16.0"x(D)11.5"x(H)1.66" and (W)15.6"x(D)11.7"x(H)2.1" respectively. They also have "similar" specs including dual hard drive support and dual optical drive support.
Yes but which version of HDMI there are currently 1.0 (released Dec 2002) and 1.1 (released May 2004). Second of all I was of the understanding you couldn't get true 1080i with component inputs. HDMI is "supposed" to be backward compliant with DVI at least those using the CEA-861 profile for DTVs. I suppose all you need, if you have a DVI input which I immagine you would if its a 3 year old rear projection HDTV, is a HDMI to DVI cable. Correct me if I am wrong, you could spend all day reading specifications and instructions and still not know what the hell is going on. I can only immagine how pissed regular consumers will be when they find their 3 grand tv doesn't play movies.
There is a way, I use Domains By Proxy. I got on all my domains I registered at GoDaddy and its like a 7-9 dollar fee per domain per year. Basically you put in your real information, and they post the "fake proxy" information on the whois. Any incomming spam to the contact information is filtered out by their service, and I even think you can deny any incomming emails to that "fake" contact email unless it comes from Domains By Proxy or GoDaddy (your registrar in my case GoDaddy). I have had the service for almost 2 years now, and I have yet to get a single piece of unsolicited email on my contact email address. Check it out, its worth it. Here is an example they put of their proxy service before and after here
Good call, that may work for network trasmisions, but there are other possible scenarios to take into consideration. For instance, how do I know if when I create a training video and burn it with their software, I dont propagate their root kit on that CD/DVD. The software does come with all kinds of protection options, so it isn't crazy to think of that kind of scenario. You are right 400 dollars isn't something to write off so fast. Imagine though being sued later by a client who's computer got infected with one of those videos. This is all hypothetical, just something to consider.
This may be a little off topic, but with this whole Sony root kit thing has anyone checked their Sony software lines for the same exploits? I had been an avid user of Sony Vegas software since they bought out Sonic Foundry, but now I am scared to install it again. There goes about 400 dollars just cuase I lost trust for Sony. It was great software much faster and more stable than Premier Pro, probably becuase Sony didn't write it. It makes you wonder what else they have corrupted in their control game.
Oh ya see now Google has done it, 10 Golden Rules = 10 Commandments, I get it. Next thing you will hear is how Google is more popular than Jesus... oh wait
This is not a troll or flame, I just want to be educated here. Okay, I'll be upfront about it, its a crappy decision to do. It will piss off a lot of people. Fundamentally though whats the problem with letting these ISP's do this? You are paying for their service, they got the right to do whatever they want. If they want to piss off their customers, thats their right. Just let me know upfront that is whats going on, and I'll pick someone who isn't doing this. Its no different than ISP's disconnecting customers for sending spam, they provide the uplink they make the rules, you dont like it leave. The government should stay out of it in the first place, let the customers decide. I already see many ISP's dropping VOIP transmissions all the time to sell their own products. Whats the difference?
A bouncer says you gotta wait outside the night club while he lets in 20 hot women and you stand out in the cold for a few hours. You cant sue the club right?
Yet another stupid requirement to the EULA is according to this article here: "You must delete your songs if you move out of the country or if you file for bankruptcy."
What you are talking about is a "stuck" pixel from what I understood. It is not broken, it still "works" albeit stuck in one color. I had similar problems with laptops. But have you tried this? Run it all night and or localize a small box version of it right on the "stuck" pixel. You got nothing to loose trying it really, and I have it work at least 10 times (laptops, psp's, projection lcd tv's). This movie is a derivative of the dvd tool they give to Best Buy and Circuit City Technicians for fixing those big screen projection LCD HDTVs. I was pointed to this by some other slashdot user, thanks to him whoever he was, saved me a bundle;)
"You'll be able to buy TV shows from the iTunes Music Store - Desperate Housewives, Lost and more shows from ABC and Disney." I guess that means Terry Hatcher will be getting into MY pants!

Hey you going to argue with Dr. Khadim? I mean how can you not trust that doctor, he has a lab coat on and everything!

Its probably becuase they only had 30 minutes at a time to work on it before it overheated ;)

I believe Ringo would be MSN
Wow nicely done, and here I thought it was:
- The open steppe
- fleet horse
- falcon on your wrist
- wind in your hair!
you made my day with that Conan reference thanks.

If AMD cant support the demand, then why the hell is Sun doing it?
