A lot more people work on an OS level than the BIOS level, meaning that a lot more people will be aware of possible ways to exploit weaknesses in the used Linux kernel and its related packages.
Sony-Ericsson is almost completely unrelated to SCEI.
First the music section installs rootkits on the computers of paying customers, then the gaming division removes OtherOS and starts a witch-hunt on GeoHot and others who want to tinker with the products they bought legally.
Sorry, but I don't have any desire to wait until the phone division finds a way to take an even bigger dump on the heads of their customer base.
Depends on the laptop. My 18 month old $2700 Toshiba Qosmio is still sold today. Slightly better graphics module but otherwise only 200 bucks less than what I paid back then.
Exactly. Professional engines like mental ray, finalRender and V-Ray are moving towards GPU rendering, but right now there's nothing between high-end gaming cards and professional graphics cards with more RAM (and a shitload of money to shell out for it).
One is a clone of the German Siemens Velaro train models while the other one is a Japanese design developed for their Shinkansen network. Not sure about French designs but IIRC the Chinese also have some Italian Pendolino trains somewhere.
There already is a good browser into which they've crammed a ton of bling and other unimportant crap that should have been banished into optional add-ons. It's called Firefox!

"Someone changed the passwords to something other than the defaults and we can't get back into the servers again."
That's supposed to explain marketing/sales people whose attention span ins measured in seconds?

Won't anybody have the heart to tell him just how massive a project would be required in order to make something like that actually earn a profit?
Doesn't have to be the military. Even regular SWAT units around the world would love to get their hands on tech like this.
I'm sure they'll debut with a cooperation between Uwe Boll and Michael Bay.

Force Recon Marines have been observed to speak up to a dozen words. Guess that's what makes them the elite of their branch.
Doesn't really surprise me.
A while ago I had to use a laptop with a 1.5 GHz Celeron, 1GB RAM and Intel graphics.
Doesn't that mainly depend on those shark researchers?
Gnome 3 will be pretty much the same clusterfuck. Good thing abandoning it in favor of Xfce only requires clicking a single link.

You're working for Radio Yerevan, right?
Depends on which train we're talking about.

Wrong place.
The monorail (German Transrapid maglev train) is supposed to be built in Shanghai.
Either that or it's the first volley in a war between Nigeria and China.
And if yes, for how long? ;)
I'm sure Dick Cheney could find something in his timetable.
The Wii is basically two Gamecubes duct taped together.
Following that logic next year's consoles will be two Wiis combined?
Windows is one of the world's most misunderstood puzzle games. But for some reason nobody has ever made it all the way to the highscore.
THIS!!!
Been there, done that, don't give a fuck about the t-shirt.
