    How can even the religious zealots be against that?
    They seem to think that creating a .xxx TLD condones pornography's existence and possibly even encourages it.

    I don't buy it either.

    The only problems I see with this are, as others have said, enforcement and categorization (what constitutes porn).

    So what does it say in Help/About then?
    It's said Firefox 1.5 since RC1, because there was the possibility that, given no significant bugs, it would then become the final (no point in patching just to change the name and user agent string).

    I actually want the opposite on some file types. Unfortunately, QuickTime decided to add its own plugin that adds and takes over the actions for quite a few filetypes.

    You can't remove these outright. You have to change the action first, then you can remove. There's definitely something wrong there...

    avast! does absolutely nothing here. After a while the JavaScript prompt pops and, without any action on my part, disappears (along with IE) and calc.exe fires up.

    As for the parent poster stating that talking isn't hard, introverts know that, usually we genuinely just don't care and sometimes don't want to know the answer to these questions.
    Bingo. I, for one, don't like to talk just to talk.

    Unfortunately, for me at least, there's also just something about verbal interaction that feels intimidating. I like to think it's the "real-time" aspect of it, but I really can't say. I like to gather my thoughts and think about what I want to say, but that's just not possible with verbal interaction without some extremely awkward periods of silence.

    Still, "small talk" is one of the most boring things I can think of, because, generally, I don't care about those sorts of things. I'm not going to ask someone if they have kids, because chances are, if I have to interact with this person for a significant length of time, that information will come out on its own eventually anyway. If I'm not going to be interacting with this person for any length of time, then it truly does feel like a waste of time and energy on my part.

    Sony has had problems with the PS2...
    They also had problems with the first batch of original PlayStations over-heating. Not to defend Microsoft or bash Sony (I own both a PS and PS2), but Sony certainly hasn't has a sparkling launch record. I don't really expect the PS3 launch to be any different, unfortunately...

    (I first experienced the over-heating problem immediately after purchasing Resident Evil. I tell you, that was kind of creepy...)

    So overall I think I gave it a [5/10] because for an amateur production it's 10/10, but up against real actors and writers it's more like a 3/10.
    The fact that you even felt compelled to rate it in comparison to the efforts of "real actors and writers" should say a lot about the quality of work that was put into this fan-made film.

    Although, still, that's an arguable comparison, since you haven't qualified what you consider to be "real actors and writers".

    That's what's wrong with a literal interpretation of the Bible. Someone here on Slashdot said it in an earlier discussion about this, but a literal interpretation pretty much forces God to be deceptive in order to remain consistent with what we know today.

    I'm no fan of religion, but I always thought deception was the domain of That Other Guy(TM). I think you'd have are time convincing people that "your" God is deceptive yet benevolent...

    You can't send a corporate division to jail; you have to send people. Who do you send? I'm sure there are a lot of people who "handled" this rookit within Sony. The easiest and quickest solution is to just penalize the corporation itself.

    Protection through diluted responsibility.
